Background Checks Need to Be Updated
As we approach the new officer year all are asked to make sure that
background checks are up-to-date. Background checks are now expiring
for those who were in the first big group required to do background
checks in 2013. About 100 members are on that expiration list. Due date
for background checks is July 1.
All those accepting positions when called by the Nominating
Committee will need to ensure that their background checks are
up-to-date. Contact Pastor Ted Baze or Kara in the office if you need to
verify your expiration date.
All wishing to volunteer here at the church, need to complete a
background check. Go to www.ShieldTheVulnerable.org to do the
background check and take the required child abuse awareness course. A
computer is available in the office. Call the church office to make an
appointment.

Let us help make your celebration this year extra special. The Ceres
Pathfinders and Sabbath Keepers are teaming up again to sell fireworks.
Please stop by our booth at 1578 E. Whitmore Avenue just across the
freeway. We would love to serve you! Thank you for your support of our
ministries and spread the word. We will be open June 28-30 and
July 1, 3, & 4.
We also need your help. If you are able to spare a couple of hours,

City of Ceres Church Concert in the Park
Night, July 12, 6:30PM
Hello Church family! There is another
City of Ceres Church concert coming up on
July 12th, Tuesday. This is no common
concert, but it’s a concert that includes
other denominational churches and an
opportunity to share godly music to the
whole community of Ceres ,since it will be
held at a park!
Our church participated for the first
time last year and our praise team ended
up on the front page of the Ceres Courier.
They have given us a certain amount of
time to share our musical talents for God
again this year. Robbie Bacolod is in charge
of our group and he is looking for members
to participate. If you’re interested, contact
him at (209) 505-5428. And do it soon,
please!
