Pasadena POPS to debut holiday concert at Civic Auditorium
T
he Pasadena POPS is
proud to debut a spectacular Holiday POPS
concert that is sure to become
a new family tradition.
Conducted by Rachael
Worby, Holiday POPS will
be performed at the Pasadena
Civic Auditorium, 300 E.
Green St. on Dec. 19. Start
time is 8 p.m.
The celebration will feature
music from “A Charlie Brown
Christmas,” “The Polar
Express,” “Home Alone” and
cherished Christmas melodies
“Jingle Bells,” “Silent Night”
and “Nutcracker.” The
evening will conclude with
heartwarming sing-alongs,
bringing the audience the
sparkling musical gems
known and loved in this most
wonderful time of the year.
Children’s tickets are just
$10.
Guest artists include
Tony-nominated and critically
acclaimed vocalist Valarie
Pettiford; one of the nation’s
leading children’s choirs, the
LA Children’s Chorus; and
the Donald Brinegar Singers,
noted for their warm choral
tone and highly musical interpretations of a wide range of
music including recent compositions. There will also be
special surprises for the kids
— Santa Claus is coming to
town.

Angeles Children’s Chorus
has emerged as one of the
nation’s leading children’s
choruses, known for the superlative quality of its musical

in 1986, LACC now performs regularly with Southern
California’s most prominent
performing arts organizations,
at its own self-produced concerts, with other children’s
choruses, at choir festivals,
