Drawing on a wide variety of sounds, with honey-sweet vocals and intense rhythms, Flap! are often likened to a 1920s prohibition-era dance band, but are so much more than that. Jon’s recent TV credits include Have I Got News For You, Live At The Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Channel 4’s Comedy Gala Live At The 02 and Never Mind The Buzzcocks. Their onstage energy is exciting, edgy and disarmingly delightful and their songs deal with the perennial themes of love, death and insobriety in ways that are surprising, intelligent and uplifting. May contain strong language and adult content. 42 www.ifmiltonkeynes.org Box Office: 01908 280800 43 UK Premiere L’Orchestre D’Hommes-Orchestres Performs Tom Waits Thursday 26 & Friday 27 July, 7.30pm Silent Arena: Silent Disco Fiday 27 July, 10pm IF you like it with a twist IF partying is your thing The Stables Spiegeltent, Campbell Park Tickets £18.50 Unreserved seating Quebec City’s L’Orchestre d’Hommes-Orchestres offer an event that is more carnival show-meets-musical circus than just a concert.
