• After breakfast parents and guests depart for the monastery at Montserrat Mtn.
• Guided tour of this magnificent facility hanging over a valley west of Barcelona.
• Set atop a 1,500-meters. mountain, 7 miles long and 3 1/2
miles wide, Montserrat is one of the most important pilgrimage spots in Spain. Thousands travel here every year to
see and touch the medieval statue of La Moreneta (The Black Virgin), the
patron saint of Catalonia - it is especially popular for newly married couples
to seek her blessing!
• Enjoy a guided walking tour of the Monastery and luncheon in Montserrat (included), then
return to Barcelona at 3:30 p.m.

majority of travelers to your selection of activities for the day. Return to the beach, shop in central city Barcelona or just relax and catch up on your reading.
• Suggestion: Return to central Barcelona by train. Barcelona is filled
with landmark buildings and world-class museums.
These include Antoni Gaudí's famed Sagrada Família, the Museu Picasso,
the Gothic cathedral, and Les Ramblas, the tree-lined promenade cutting
