The Milton Jr. Wildcats are ready for 2012 season. If your child wants to learn football or cheer in a fun, suppor>ve, safe and compe>>ve environment, the Milton Jr. Wildcats youth football program is the place. A few facts: • The Jr. Wildcats are part of American Youth Football. AYF is the largest youth football program in the country, with 23,000 teams across all 50 states. • The Jr. Wildcats play in the Bay State Conference against the same towns the high school team plays (such as Weymouth, Norwood and Walpole). This means that your child will become a beNer player by playing against some of the best football programs in the state. • The Wildcats teams are set up by grade, with teams from 2nd through 8th grade. This means that your child will play with his/her classmates against players of the same age and ability. • The Jr. Wildcats provide the equipment, including helmets, shoulder pads, game pants with integrated pads and home and away jerseys. All equipment was brand new for the 2011 season and is state-‐of-‐the-‐art. • Prac>ces start in August. There is an 8-‐game schedule (4 home and 4 away) that starts Labor Day weekend. Games are played on Sunday. • Games at every level are played on a full size football field with professional referees and the same rules as high school and college.
