AN INVITATION TO
The Etruscan Tour
The Etruscan Foundation invites you to participate in an exciting new travel program ­scheduled for
June 26- July 2, 2016 entitled The Etruscan Tour. Limited to 20 guests, we will be leaving from Rome
and travel north to Tuscany to the Villa Bellaria located in the small m
­ edieval village of Campagnatico
which will serve as our base for the tour. ­Overlooking the Ombrone river valley, guests may relax by the
swimming pool or enjoy strolling the sights of the ancient village. In addition to our selected guided
tours we will be i­ntroduced to the unique wines and cuisines of each locality amidst the beautiful
surrounding Tuscan c­ ountryside.
In keeping with the Etruscan Foundation mission we will tour unique sites not commonly visited by
traditional travel companies: Sites included will be Roselle and Grosetto, Vetulonia, Siena, Populonia,
Mantalcino, Tarquinia and the Castello di Spannocchia among other unique sites. Our expert guides will
provide our small group with exclusive access to these unique sites during the week.
Tour cost is $3,600 per person of which $1,500 is a tax deductible donation to the Etruscan F­ oundation.
The tour cost includes round trip transportation from Rome to the Villa Bellaria and to all tour sites,
meals, guide service and entrance fees. Individual airfare is not included. Tour reservations must be
­received by March 1, 2016. Tour specifications are defined in the in the Statement of Conditions on
page 4 of this document.

The Etruscan Tour Itinerary
The Villa Bellaria will serve as the central hub for the tour program.
Arrival. Guests will be met at a central location in Rome and travel to the Villa Bellaria.

Statement of Conditions
Tour cost and minimum number of participants:
Program Tour Price: $3,600 per person based on a minimum of 20 paying participants.
Single Room Supplement: Add $1,200.
Tour cost is based on exchange rates and tariffs in effect as of June 15, 2016; Subject to change in the event
there is a fluc¬tuation of more than 4%.
Air Travel: No arrangements are included in the tour plan.
Surface Travel: By private motor coach as indicated in the itinerary.
Accommodations and Meals: Twin occupancy at The Villa Bellaria as indicated with (7) breakfast daily including
seven (7) lunches (with water only) and seven (7) group dinners (with water and ½ liter wine).
Program Arrangements: As indicated in the itinerary.
Payment Schedule: $1,800 initial deposit per person is due with completed enrollment form by
February 27, 2016. Balance of tour fee is due in full by March 28, 2016.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Should a cancellation occur prior to 90 days before departure (March 28,
2016), the initial deposit will be refunded less a $100 fee per person. After March 28, 2016 the following charges
will apply:

Cancellations must be submitted in writing; the date of receipt of such notification by
The Etruscan Foundation shall be the effective cancellation date.
Trip Insurance: Trip cancellation insurance is recommended and is the sole responsibility of the enrollee to
secure appropriate policy coverage.
Exclusions: Items not listed above, including but not limited to meals other than those indicated; beverages
except at breakfast; optional entertainment and excursions; excess baggage charges; all personal items, such as
telephone calls, laundry expenses, individual room service; trip insurance; departure taxes (except U.S.); passport
and visa fees.
Management and Responsibility: The Etruscan Foundation acts only as an agent and neither TEF nor any
employee or appointee nor any other person, party or organization or agency collaborating with it is or shall
be responsible or liable for any injury or loss, accident or damage, delay or deviation or curtailment, howsoever
caused or arising or the consequences thereof, which may occur during any part of the travel or program or
during such free time as the members may elect to spend independently on program.

Waiver and Release
The undersigned participant (“Participant”) acknowledges that he or she is fully knowledgeable as to the
risks associated with travel and tourism. The Participant states that he or she is in good health and has no
knowledge of any infirmity which would impair ability or increase any risk. For valid consideration r­ eceived,
the Participant assumes all risks of the activity in which the Participant will participate and waives all
claims against The Etruscan Foundation (“TEF”), its officers, directors, trustees, and agents arising out of the
­participation by Participant in the Etruscan Tour scheduled for June 26, 2016 to July 2, 2016 (the “Tour”)
and any other activities associated with or relating to the Tour. Participant hereby waives and releases TEF
and its officers, directors, trustees and agents from and against any and all claims arising out of Participant’s
participation in the Tour. Participant hereby covenants to indemnify, defend and hold TEF, and its officers,
directors, trustees and agents harmless from and against any and all liability, claims and actions that may be
brought by or in the right of Participant arising out of Participant’s participation in the Tour. This Waiver and
Release, including the assumption of risk of injury as a result of participation in the Tour shall be continuing
until a written revocation is received by an officer of TEF which revocation shall be effective on a prospective
basis only.
