more comfortable.
Absolutely necessary for every structural steel worker- even where our Hydraulic Punching
Units are already used.
■ Easy positioning of the Punching Head at the steel girder due to gas pressure shock
absorber.
■ When used on the Service Cart the hydraulic pump does not need to be carried any
longer.

ALFRA – Special nibbling tool ASN
Application:
■ Pre-punched round holes can be expanded easily and in a cost-saving manner to
make square and rectangular holes.
■ What is especially recommended for manufacturing rare sizes, square and rectangular shapes (special shapes), for manufacturing special
tools appear uneconomical.
Operation:
■ Use a puncher and Compact hand punch to pre-punch a pilot hole
Ø 21.5 mm or Ø 28.5 mm.
Apply a nibbling tool with Compact punch and a round hole can be expanded to a
square or rectangle of arbitrary size by multiple punching (nibbling) to the desired
final dimension.
The final dimension should be pre-marked to avoid skew punches.
