ART
The current featured artists in the Java Gallery are nine talented members of the Westerville Art
League: Kat Bubenchik, Lynn Carty, Kathryn Smithson, Judi Heston, Karen Shank, Elaine
Freeman, Gail Paulus, Don Reither,and John Cameron. Their wonderful, diverse art will on
display (and for sale) January and February.
A public Open House to meet the artists and view their beautiful work will be held on
Thursday, Jan. 22, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
MUSIC
Here is the Live Music lineup for this weekend –
Friday 1/9- Acoustic Open Mic (7 -10 PM) Considered one of the best around! It’s always a
surprising and entertaining night. Excellent performers from all over central Ohio – and beyond.
Saturday 1/10 (7:00-10:00 PM) - LARS – Lars is an excellent country singer/songwriter
from Cincinnati who sings Johnny Cash, Wilie Nelson, train songs, cowboy songs and his
own fun story songs. Always entertaining and a JC favorite!
Joining him is the SCIOTO RAMBLERS bluegrass/country band. Upbeat guitars, mandolin,
banjo, fiddle and string bass – and great vocals!
NEXT WEEK: SAT. – Bohemian Highway folk quartet; SUN. – Lil’ Red and the Rooster blues duo
