Drive across the fertile plain of Boeotia, crossing the towns of Thebes on to Levadia and
Arachova famous for its colorful rugs and carpets. Arrive at Delphi the center of the
Ancient world whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic world.
On the slopes of mount Parnassus lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit
the treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing masterpieces of ancient Greek sculptures such as the bronze Charioteer and the famous
athlete Aghias. Lunch is served in the modern village of Delphi, the return to Athens via
the same route.
Day 3: In the morning visit Castalia Spring and the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, the
Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios and the Museum. Depart for Kalambaka, passing through
numerous picturesque villages and typical towns of Central Greece. Overnight in
Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora and

Byzantine art. Depart from Kalambaka, drive through the striking plain of Thessaly and
the Valley of Tempi, and admire the gigantic figure of Mount Olympos, the highest
mountain in Greece and home of the 12 Gods in Greek Mythology. Arrival at Thessaloniki,the second largest and the most vibrant city in Greece. (Dinner and overnight)
5th day: In the morning visit the city that throughout the era of the Byzantine Empire was
the "co-reigning" city, second in population and prestige only to Constantinople. Visit
unique monuments and feel the glorious Byzantine past in some of the oldest and most
characteristic churches of the Christian world as well as in the Museum of Byzantine
Culture, awarded with the Council of Europe's Museum Prize for the year 2005. Rest of
the day free, to enjoy time in the lively center of the city. (Dinner and overnight)
6th day: Depart in the morning for a unique approach to historical Macedonia. First stop
at picturesque Edessa where we see the town's famous landmark, the Waterfalls. Then
proceed to Naoussa, to a site of exceptional beauty and importance: Aristotle's School,
the picturesque site where the great philosopher taught ‘the doctrines of morals and
politics' to Alexander the Great and the Macedonian youth. Then drive to Vergina
(ancient Aigai), to live the experience of a visit to the unique Museum, created in the
Great Tumulus covering the royal tombs of Macedonia. See the astonishing findings
from the tomb of King Phillip II, Alexander's father, and feel the thrill of the greatest
discovery of the 20th century. In only a few miles away is Veria (Biblical Beroea) to visit
Saint Paul's Bema, and then stroll through the old Jewish neighborhood and the
colourful market area. A walk in a city where past is present and around. Return to
Thessaloniki. (Dinner and overnight)
7th day: Drive to Pella, the capital of Alexander the Great. See the exquisite floor
mosaics of the 4th century B.C. villas, in situ as well as in the new Museum. Then
proceed and visit the Archaeological Park of Dion (sacred city of the Macedonians, at the
foot of mountain Olympos). After the visit we shall start driving south and through
Thessaly, Lamia, Thermopylae (see the Leonidas' Monument) and Thebes, arrive in
Athens late in the afternoon.
N.B. Please ladies for the visit of the Monasteries you need a skirt and the gentlemen

Day 3 - MYKONOS: After breakfast, you transfer to the port and take the ferry to
Mykonos. Arrival transfer to your hotel for 3 nights of relaxation. Mykonos is an island
full of contradictions. It has 365 churches and chapels (one for each day of the year),
with its famous blue domes and windmills. It is a jet-set island with a flux of people
taking advantage of its magnificent beaches, multi-coloured stores and boutiques and
myriad taverns and restaurants.
Day 6 - SANTORINI: After breakfast, you transfer to the port and take the ferry to
Santorini. Arrival transfer to your hotel for a 3 night stay. This island offers without a
doubt the most spectacular view of the Aegean Sea. This circular island was created
after a volcanic eruption about 3000 years ago. You will be enchanted by the crisp
white vaulted houses, carved in the volcanic rock such as the city of Fira, situated on
the top of the mountain, approximately 300 meters above sea level. From there, you
can enjoy the panoramic view of the caldera. The beaches are on the other side of the
island, made of black sand or dark pebbles. If you are an archaeology enthusiast, you
can go to the Akrotiri site where the ruins of a prehistoric city have been discovered. Of
course you will have the chance to sample the best sunset ever!

Day 6 - FRIDAY: After breakfast you are transferred to Lavrion, one of the major ports
of Athens. 60 kilometers from Athens, Lavrion is an ancient silver mining center and a
bustling port – the city’s silver mines date to prehistory. The giant columns at the
Temple of Poseidon were “excavated” in Lavrion, which is also home to the oldest and
largest ancient amphitheater in Greece.
Day 7 – SATURDAY: Our first stop is magical Istanbul. This is one of the world’s great
cities, home to Byzantine and Ottoman architectural jewels such as Hagia Sofia, the
Greek Patriarchate, the lovely fountain and gardens of Sultanahmet Square and the
incredible Grand Bazaar (61 covered streets!). Make sure to leave time for a cruise
from Europe to Asia across the historic Bosphorus
Day 8 - SUNDAY: From Istanbul we depart for the white sand beaches of quiet Kusadasi, which are a stone’s throw from Ancient Ephesus and the Terrace Houses, the House
of the Virgin Mary, beautiful Sirince Village and the thrilling metropolis of Izmir. The
outstanding shopping at Kusadasi’s lively harborside bazaar will entice you, as will
Ancient Ephesus, one of the best-preserved, most extensive archaeological sites in the
Mediterranean and a mere 19 kilometers from Kusadasi. It was the most important
Christian city between Rome and Antiochin the early years of Christianity.
Day 9 - ATHENS: After breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly back home (via Athens)
Day 9 - MONDAY: We spend the following day in Santorini, whose majestic volcanic
cliffs tower above the Aegean. Take a jeep safari into the interior or a cruise to Santorini’s smaller islands and volcanoes. You can also visit the Akrotiri Village excavations,
stroll through the lovely hilltop village of Fira, the island’s capital, or just relax in a café
in Oia Village and watch a spectacular sunset from 300 meters above the sea. You’ll
feel as if you can put your fingertips to the sky.
Day 10 - TUESDAY: From Santorini we sail overnight to lovely Agios Nikolaos for an
incredible day in Crete. Greece’s largest island will greet you like a long-lost relative.Crete is a wonderland of pristine beaches, hiking trails, rivers and archeological
marvels, including the Minoan Palace of Knossos, home to the first civilization in
Europe. Don’t miss the scenic villages of the prefecture of Lasithi, the island’s
picturesque monasteries and the famous islet of Spinalonga. Crete is easy to love and
hard to leave – don’t do it without a bottle of Cretan olive oil, the world’s finest.

Rhodes. The Palace of the Grand Masters, in the old walled city of Rhodes, a UNESCO
World Heritage site, will make you think you’ve stepped back in time, as will the
astonishing Acropolis of Lindos and the Citadel of the Knights. Try some tasty local
wines and relax at charming Tsampika Beach, or stroll the cobbled streets of old city
and enjoy an al fresco traditional Greek coffee, strong enough to keep you going
through a morning packed with the best of this magnificent island and its 2,400 years
of history. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the pool deck or a chilled glass of ouzo and meze
at Thalassa Bar, on Deck 10, the Aegean spread before you as we sail for an afternoon
in charming Symi and its picture-perfect capital. The mansions of sponge fishing
millionaires and shipping magnates climb the hillsides above the harbor at Symi, a
protected architectural site since the 1970s. Two steep stairways lead to Horio, home
of the Knights’ Castle and 13 churches. Don’t miss exquisite Panormitis Monastery,
built in the 15th century on the seafront along Panormitis Bay.
Day 12 - THURSDAY: How about breakfast in fragrant Chios, allegedly the birthplace
of Christopher Columbus and almost swimming distance from the Turkish coast. Chios
is mountainous, but it offers visitors a stunning array of beautiful beaches. The sturdy
Castle of Chios rises just north of the center of Chios Town, beside the harbor: originally
a Byzantine fortress, the Genoese rebuilt the castle between the 12th and 14th
centuries. At the center of the island is Nea Moni Monastery, from the 11th century, and
Kambos, redolent with citrus. Southern Chios is home to the mastic villages, which date
to the Genoese occupation.
Our final stop is magical Mykonos, an island so lovely it’s been one of the most popular
destinations in the world for almost six decades. Its countryside is as pristine as its
beaches. Stroll the enchanting cobbled alleys of Mykonos Town to the Little Venice
neighborhood then, after the sun retires, rub elbows with the jet set in one of Mykonos
Town’s chic nightclubs. It only takes a few hours on this paradisiacal island to
understand why it’s loved by travelers from around the world. After a few hours of
dancing, we bid goodnight to Mykonos and sail for Piraeus, where you’ll be amongst
the first to wish the golden Attic sun good morning.
Day 13 - FRIDAY: Morning return to Athens, transfer to your hotel for the last day. Rest
of the day free to enjoy shopping.

the Venetian town of Chania. Return to Heraklion via Agios Nikolaos and Vai.
Day 1: Heraklion Pick up your car from Heraklion airport or downtown office and drive
to your hotel in Heraklion. Spend the rest of the day at leisure in Heraklion or at one of
the nearby beaches. Overnight Heraklion.
Day 5 - PAROS: After breakfast, transfer to the port and take the ferry to Paros. Arrival
transfer to your hotel for a 3 night holiday. Enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, pristine white
houses, traditions and friendly and welcoming people.
Day 2: Heraklion Day to explore Heraklion and its surroundings. The island's capital
still retains evidence of its Venetian heritage, including the city walls and fortress. Its
Archaeological Museum houses the world's greatest collection of Minoan art; Knossos
(7km from town, 15 minutes away) is the greatest of Crete's Minoan Palaces. A visit

Fortress, built in the 16th Century, overlooks the picturesque harbour with its charming
13th Century lighthouse. Home to a large university student population, this city has
great choice of cafes and good restaurants as well as casual eateries. If you find time
before dinner, take a swim at the popular main beach right by the town. Overnight

Drive through Patras, capital of Peloponnese and across the 'Little Dardanelles' from
Rios to Antorio via spectacular bridge. Cross the picturesque town of Nafpaktos and the

Day 4: Rethymnon-Chania Route 1. From Rethymnon you can take the most direct
route to Chania, continuing along the main coastal highway.
Route 2. Alternatively, the slower route from Chania to Heraklion takes you inland, over
good country roads, through scenic countryside, and mountains to the southern coast
of Crete. (As featured on Getaway). Drive south out of Rethymnon, following signs to
Armeni village, then cross over mountain range before descending to coastal village of
Plakias. From here drive west, along the coastal road to Hora Sfakion via picturesque
Frangocastello. Along this stretch of coastline are some of the most beautiful and
natural beaches in Crete. Not so populated, many smaller coves are ideal for a private
swim.
After Hora Sfakion, take the main road back north, following signs to Chania, Crete's
second largest city. This particularly scenic drive climbs over high mountains, alongside
a steep gorge and offers spectacular scenery with sweeping views of the coast back
towards Hora Sfakion. The road eventually joins the main highway to Chania- the
island's most attractive city. This Venetian Port town is set against a spectacular
backdrop of majestic mountains and aquamarine seas. Excellent base to explore

Day 5: Chania Spend the day meandering through the narrow cobbles lanes of
Chania's old town, with its neoclassical mansions and massive Venetian fortification.
Stroll along the picturesque waterfront of the old port - fringed by stylishly refurbished
restaurants and bars. A beautiful old Mosque right on the waterfront completes the
picture as Chania's most recognizable landmark. For a different perspective, drive up
to Venizelos memorial to capture sweeping views over Chania, which are especially
captivating at sunset.
Or for the more active explorer, take a day trip to see the most spectacular landscape
in Crete which lies along the Samaria Gorge, the longest ravine in Europe (18km). It
starts 44km south of Chania and finishes at the seaside village of Agia Roumeli.

Day 6: Chania-Agios Nikolaos Take the direct coastal highway back in the direction
of Heraklion and continue east to beach resort town of Agios Nikolaos. Relax with a

Day 11 - WEDNESDAY: A full day to explore yet another incomparable island. The
Palace of the Grand Masters, in the old walled city of Rhodes, a UNESCO World
Heritage site, will make you think you’ve stepped back in time, as will the ancient
Acropolis of Lindos, high above the sea, and the Citadel of the Knights. Try some
delicious local wines and relax at charming Tsampika Beach, or just stroll the old city
and enjoy an al fresco lunch and a traditional Greek coffee, strong enough to fortify you
for an afternoon wandering through the past. From Rhodes we sail overnight to Crete.
Day 12 - THURSDAY: Heraklion, An ancient Venetian port and the capital of Crete.
Greece’s largest island will greet you like family. It’s a wonderland of secluded beaches,
hiking trails, rivers and archeological marvels, including the Minoan Palace of Knossos,
the first civilization in Europe, and the Archeological Museum in Heraklion. However
you decide to spend your morning in Crete, you’ll fall in love. And don’t leave the island
without a bottle of Cretan olive oil, the world’s finest.
Enjoy a delicious lunch on the pool deck or a traditional Greek coffee at Thalassa Bar,
on Deck 10, the bright blue surface of the Aegean glittering beneath you, as we sail
from Heraklion for an evening in breathtaking Santorini. Its massive cliffs rise from the
blue waters of the Aegean like a dream. Take a jeep safari into the interior or a cruise
to Santorini’s smaller islands and volcanoes, visit the Akrotiri Village excavations, or

DAY 4 : Cappadocia Tour - Izmir
After breakfast take our second day private Cappadocia tour. First visit Zelve then
walking in Ihlara Canyon Valley, a "mirage" in the Steps of Anatolia up to Belisirma
village, the ancient Peristrema: "Valley of the Sky" along the Melendiz River. Rock-cut
churches, spread across a wild plantation, surprises you with their successfully painted
representations from the Bible. Climb on top of the Uchisar Rock-Castle to have a
panoramic view of the valleys of Cappadocia. Transfer to the airport for flight to Izmir
via Istanbul or direct flight depends upon flight date. Arrive in Izmir. Transfer to the hotel
for overnight.
Day 5 : Ephesus Tour - Istanbul
After breakfast depart for Ephesus tour. First visit the Artemission Temple where is one
of the seven wonders of the Ancient World. Continue to Ephesus.visit Ephesus, one of
the 12 cities of Ionia (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor) is
located near Izmir. As a port city at the mouth of the Cayster (modern Küçükmenderes)
River, it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Known in antiquity
for its sacred shrines, notably a famous temple (one of the Seven Wonders of the
Ancient World) to the goddess Artemis, or Diana, the city was also an important center
of early Christianity.
After Ephesus, lunch will be served in the garden of a local handicrafts center. Here you
can see some of the traditional carpet weaving techniques used and enjoy viewing
some splendid displays of beautiful carpets.
After Lunch visit House of Virgin Mary. This house is located on the Aladag Mountains
5 miles from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council of 431 in Ephesus, it was
claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her
death in 48 A.D. After the discovery of the house, the Archbishop of Izmir declared it a
place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited this place and
prayed here.
17.00 Drive to Izmir airport for our flight back to Istanb ul at 18.30. after 1 hour flight

The boat will remain anchored in Marmaris harbor for this night. After dinner on board,

Head for Arap Island where lunch will be served. After a swimming break, proceed to
Bozukkale, the ancient city of Loryma. You may visit the rwmains of the fortress, do

After breakfast, cruise to Bozburun. Bozburun is the village where the wooden gulets

Reservations & Deposits:
Your Travel Agent should make all reservations and payments on your behalf. We will book
the services requested. However, sometimes if we are unable to confirm such services, you
will be offered the most suitable alternative. Once accepted by you, a non-refundable deposit
of $ 500 per person is required.
Final Payment:
Final payment is due 60 days prior to your departure. We reserve the right to cancel your
booking if full payment is not received within the required period. Bookings made within 60
days of departure are payable in full at time of booking.
Payment by Credit Cards:
Your verbal authorization, given to your Travel Agent or to us directly, for the use of your
credit card indicates your compliance with our booking conditions and confirms your
reservation whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate authorization form. In the
case where the traveler pays with a third person credit card, a written proof of consent must
be provided. Once a credit card has been forwarded to SKYWAY TOURS to guarantee a
reservation, the travel agent becomes responsible for payment and must keep a signed copy
of the customer’s authorization on file. In the event that a cardholder refuses to honor a
charge due to the absence of signature, the Travel Agent will be held responsible for full
payment of the services.
Cancellations & Refunds:
Should you wish to cancel your booking, your Travel Agent must notify us in writing. No
cancellation or changes are allowed after departure. Cancellations are subject to the
following charges:
• Up to 60 days prior to departure: Your deposit of $500 per person
• 59-46 days prior to departure: 50%
• 45-31 days prior to departure: 75%
• 30 days prior to departure: 100%
Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend customers purchase travel insurance that covers the risks
associated with travelling to a foreign country such as emergency medical assistance and
hospitalization as well as cancellations coverage and lost baggage. Consult with your Travel
Agent for the plan best suited to your needs.
Prices:
SKYWAY TOURS reserves the right to increase its rates in the event of increases caused by
a devaluation of the Canadian dollar, fuel surcharges imposed by transportation companies
and government imposed taxes.
Taxes and Service Charges:
All tour packages are subject to various charges, such as destination hotel taxes and service
charges, port taxes on cruises, local government taxes, handling charges as well as on
packages inclusive of an airfare, airport taxes, security fees and departure tax. All such
charges, as known at the time of printing, are included in a SKYWAY TOURS package price.
However, such charges are subject to change and unless a holiday package is fully paid any
such increase will be paid by the passenger.
Air Transportation:
In order to obtain the lowest possible airfare for you, SKYWAY TOURS has negotiated special
advance purchase fares that have travel restrictions, modifications restrictions and
cancellation provisions. Your Travel Agent will be notified of any conditions that may apply at
the time your reservation is confirmed.
Registration at the airport:
You must present yourself at the airport for check-in at least 3 hours prior to your scheduled
departure. Seat assignment is provided upon check-in.
Baggage:
Air carriers have individual rules and regulations with respect to baggage weight, size and
number. Customers must consult with their travel agent for applicable restrictions. Customers
participating to one of our coach tours have are allowed one piece of baggage not exceeding
20 kilos. Passenger’s baggage and property are transported, stored and handled at owner’s
risk at all time.
Unused Services:
No refunds or adjustments will be made for any unused or incomplete service. All air tickets
are non-refundable, valid only for the flights indicated and cannot be exchanged for other
flights.

Some events are part of normal unpleasant occurrences which can happen when travelling
abroad. Clients recognize such events and assume its consequences by agreeing not to hold
SKYWAY TOURS responsible. Hotel ratings are provided and established by the Local Tourist
Organizations in accordance with local standards and may be different from North American
standards. Air conditioning in some European hotels is usually turned off during the off-peak
season, unless it becomes necessary due to unusual heat wave. If your package includes a
cruise holiday in the Greek Islands and you have recently used a Caribbean cruise, you
should be made aware that the accommodation standards are different between the two
products.
To maintain the quality of services, hotel complexes must regularly undergo maintenance,
improvement, renovation work and, in some instances, consider expansion. SKYWAY
TOURS cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience caused to the client.
Claims:
Our services consist of several components provided by independent suppliers. In the event
that any component is changed while on tour, our local representatives will try to give you the
earliest possible notice and offer alternative arrangements of an equal value. If you utilize
these new arrangements, it will be taken as your acceptance of the changes as full
compensation of the cancelled or altered services. If you encounter a problem while abroad
you must inform us, and our local Agent, immediately so that we may be able to rectify the
problem.
We will not accept any later claims since the problem may be difficult to rectify once you have
returned home. If any matter is not resolved you must notify us in writing within 21 days of the
completion of your tour. We accept no responsibility beyond the refund of the unused portion
and such refund will be deemed to constitute full settlement.
Documentation:
All passengers are requested to have a valid passport. Certain countries require that the
passport be valid for six (6) months beyond the date of return to Canada. It is the passenger’s
responsibility to determine and obtain all documentation required by all relevant government
authorities such as passport, visas etc... If the travel documents are not in order the carrier, be
this an airline or a cruise company, reserve the right to refuse passage with no refund issued
in such cases. Special conditions apply to children travelling alone or with one parent.

Our Responsibility:
SKYWAY TOURS acts as your agent in booking the services offered in this brochure,
including transportation, sightseeing, excursions, cruises, hotel accommodation and car
rentals. The carriers, hotel, car rental companies, cruise companies and other suppliers are
independent contractors and are in no way affiliated with SKYWAY TOURS. We are not
responsible for changes imposed on us by such suppliers. We are responsible in providing
you with the services booked. However, all vouchers and other travel documents issued by us
are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the supplier and to the laws of the country
in which the services are rendered. In case the services you booked could not be supplied, we
will endeavor to arrange comparable alternative services and any resulting additional expense
should be payable by you while in the event of any resulting cost reduction should be refunded
to you. If a tour is cancelled we have no responsibility beyond the refund of monies paid by
you for that specific tour component. You agree that neither us or our affiliates shall be liable
for
any damage, loss (including personal injury, whether physical or mental, death and property
loss) or expenses occurred by an act of God or an act or omission of any other person. In no
event is SKYWAY TOURS liable for damages exceeding the amounts of monies paid by you
for the services you requested and booked.

30 to March 30, 2015. Prices may change following an increase of taxes and charges
authorized by a competent Government authority. Total cost of the services offered in this
brochure include the GST and the provincial sales taxes, when applicable and exclude the
Provincial (Quebec) contribution of $ 1.00 per $ 1000 services representing the consumer
contribution to the Indemnity Fund of the Travel Agent.
