The Beadalon EZ-Crimp
Pliers (p. 174) are specifically
designed to fit exclusive
Beadalon EZ-Crimp Ends
and Findings.
Place a single strand, or a
combination of Beadalon
wires (up to .024”), all the
way inside the hole.

Place the smooth portion
of the EZ-Crimp finding
into the semi-circle of
the EZ-Crimp pliers.

Squeeze until the coiled
wires of the EZ-Crimp
pliers begin to close down
around the stringing wire.
Make an additional crimp
(using the previous step) so the
entire length of the EZ-Crimp
finding closes onto the wire.

Sterling Silver Scrimp® Kit
EXCLUSIVE!
Simply stated, .925 Sterling Silver Scrimp findings are an innovative
screw finding that takes the place of a crimp. A tiny set screw inside holds
Beadalon wires securely in place. The complete Scrimp Kit contains its own
screwdriver (Base metal) and six Sterling Silver Scrimp Findings with Silver
Plated brass screws. Six additional screws are cleverly held within the handle
of the screwdriver. Scrimp Findings are easy to use for necklaces, bracelets
and anklets. Partially unscrew the screw in the Scrimp Finding, insert
Beadalon wire (up to 0.53 mm, 0.021” diameter) into the Scrimp Finding,
through a clasp, and back through the Scrimp Finding until the desired loop
size is obtained. (Use a Sterling Silver Wire Guardian (p. 100) to lengthen the
life of the connection). Then, simply tighten the screw and begin stringing.
Repeat steps for the opposite end of your design for a secure, removable,
and flexible finish. For a permanent finish, use a partial drop of Bead Fix
(p. 165) on the tightened screw. * See (p. 104) for Scrimp Finding Instructions

Crimping is an easy method for finishing Beadalon wire. Sterling
Silver Crimp Beads and Tubes maintain the quality level of your
precious metal bead designs. Made of .925 Sterling, Crimp
Beads/Tubes are simple to attach and provide a secure closure.
Note: Flatten Twist Crimp Tubes using flat or Chain Nose Pliers, and not with
Crimp Pliers (please see crimping instructions on p. 111).

up with the Beading Awl (p. 186) to cover Crimp Beads and Tubes. (See
instructions at right.) Carefully close the bead with the EZ-Crimp pliers,
making sure not to mar the surface of the bead. (Tip: A little electrical
tape on the jaw of the EZ-Crimp pliers will help to minimize marring.) Once

Sterling Silver Wire Guardian™ Findings
Protect stringing materials from excessive wear. Use Sterling Silver Wire
Guardian findings to reduce abrasion from clasps and other sharp-edged
components. Use Wire Guardian Findings in the same way you use French
wire; the only difference is Wire Guardian findings are rigid. Gold Filled
Wire Guardian Findings offer 1/20 14kt Gold for high end designs. For wire
diameters up to 0.53mm (.021”).

Use Bead Bumpers instead of knots to separate and add interest to designs.
Simply string one Bead Bumper in between each bead of a design to space
beads evenly. Once incorporated, the Bumpers look similar to a knot and
keep the beads from rubbing against one another. Since Bead Bumpers are
made of a special stretch material, they can be added to Beadalon wires up
to .024” (.06 cm) in diameter. These Bead Bumpers are also great for Memory
Wire designs where you want to have a knotted, or tin-cup style look.
Customize earring findings with Bead Bumpers to hold beads in place.

The complete Scrimp Kit contains its own screwdriver and extra supply of
Scrimp Findings with screws. Additional screws are cleverly held within the
handle of the screwdriver. Scrimp Findings are a cinch to use for necklaces,
bracelets and anklets. Just partially unscrew the screw in the Scrimp Finding,
insert Beadalon wire into the Scrimp Finding, through a clasp, and back
through the Scrimp Finding (until the desired loop size is obtained). Use
a Wire Guardian where extra abrasion is likely to occur. (Magnetic Scrimp
Finding does not loop back through the finding). Simply tighten the screw
using the provided screwdriver and begin stringing. A secure – and flexible
– finish!

Reduce abrasion from clasps or other sharp-edged components. Perfect for
use with the Beadalon Watch Faces, described below. Use Wire Guardians in
the same way you use French Wire; the only difference is the Wire Guardian
is rigid. Size #1 is for wire diameters up to 0.53mm (.021”) and size #2 is for
wires up to 0.66mm (.026”) in diameter.

Finishing multi-strand designs with Cones
1
Single-Cup and Double-Cup Bead Tips add a professional look to designs
strung on Beadalon Wires and Thread. After you’ve finished stringing,
string into Bead Tip. Make sure the knot or crimp is large enough not to pull
through the hole. Attach Bead Tip to a finding by carefully closing the “arm”
onto a Jump Ring, Spring Ring, or directly to a Clasp. Double-Cup Bead Tips
cover the knot or crimp. Use Beadalon Bead Stringing Glue (p. 164) to secure
thread in Bead Tips.

EZ Lobster Clasps eliminate the need to add a Jump Ring to connect your
clasp - shoring up your designs and keeping them clean and neat. Thread

These strong and secure clasps are easy to use and conceal the wire ends

Ear Wire Beading Hoops
Beading Hoops are a quick and easy way to design a wide variety of beaded
hoop earrings. Simply slide on beads or dangles. Use Bead Bumpers as stops
for designs. Items B- E and G-I use Chain Nose Pliers to bend the end into
a slight angle. The bend feeds through the opposite hole to act as a catch.
Wire diameter is 0.68mm (.027”).

Hair Crimps are a large metal crimp with a rubberized center and are great
for Hair/Jewelry Fashion. Use a small crochet hook or other thin hook (Hook
Not Included) to pull a small amount of hair into the crimp, leaving enough
room inside of the crimp for your design. We suggest using Polyester
Sparkle Thread, Metallic Beadalon Wire, beads, and feathers. Insert your
design into the crimp then gently squeeze the crimp onto the hair and the
stringing material holding your design. It is best to crimp close to the scalp.
To remove, carefully squeeze the crimp from the flattened ends to re-open

Scrimp Findings are an innovative screw finding that takes the place of
a looped end. A tiny set screw inside holds Memory Wire wire in place.
Scrimp Findings are a cinch to use for necklaces, bracelets and anklets. Just
partially unscrew the screw in the Scrimp Finding then insert Memory Wire
into the half-drilled hole. Simply tighten the screw using the screwdriver (p.
105) and begin stringing. Memory Wire Scrimp Findings are a stylish and
stronger alternative to finishing-off your memory wire designs, providing a
mechanical hold by screwing-down on the wire.
