Call me ‘adventurous’ but I like the Mereway of doing things.
Gareth Kyle is a lover of good food and lives in the beautiful North East of England.
He has been cooking for as long as he can remember and was inspired by watching
Keith Floyd on TV with his Dad.
Gareth has taken part in a number of cooking competitions and was a winner of the 2012 EAT!
Newcastle Gateshead ‘Trial Shift’ Competition. In 2011 he won the BBC Masterchef Live Champions
London Studio Cook Off and in the same year he was a BBC Masterchef’s Live Good Food Show
Summer winner. He also holds a Guinness world record for the longest individual cooking marathon
having cooked for a staggering 41 hours.
