TAC / PAC Advisory Committee Roles
Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) Will be responsible for providing input and insight
on the technical issues as they pertain to the
master plan and development of the Airport.
Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) Function is similar to the TAC but will provide
guidance and direction to the study team as it
relates to the Community’s reaction, sensitivity,
criticism and desires for the Airport as it relates to
the greater community.

What is Remaining in the Planning Process?
4 The City of Gainesville has reviewed the Airport Master
Plan and has issued three general comments that will
be presented to the City Commission on June 26 for
final approval
4 The draft ALP has been submitted to the FAA/FDOT for
the initial review and comments have been addressed.
4 A neighborhood workshop for the final AMP has been
scheduled for the evening of June 14.
4 The final PAC/TAC meeting has been scheduled for
June 15.
