registration at University of Gdańsk in Gdynia Campus
(Institute of Oceanography). Introductory lectures. Departure
for Władysławowo, Hotel Kliper.

Day 3, August 30 (Tuesday): Field trip – sedimentary features
and depositional environments of Pleistocene fluvial
successions exposed in cliffs of northern part of the
Kashubian Coast, formation and evolution of the Hel Spit.

Chłapowo Cliff– southern Baltic Sea coast
Preliminary programme:
Day 4, August 31(Wednesday): Field trip – glacial and
glaciolacustrine series and glaciotectonics of the Oksywie
Plateau, interglacial fluvial series and sedimentary record of
deltaic sedimentation in the Puck Plateau.

record of Pleistocene glaciations exposed at the large scale
quarry “Wapienno”, the Late Weichselian aeolian series
within the Toruń Basin, arrival in the Castle Hotel at GolubDobrzyń.

subglacial landsystem of glacial-curvilineations and ice
marginal formation, subglacial tills associated with the
Vistula Ice Stream of the Scandinavian Ice Sheet. Departure
to Gdańsk (at afternoon).
