Golf, Seychelles-style, where sublime island vistas will
transport you beyond the game.
There are precious few places on earth that allow you to play your favourite
sport in such sublime natural surrounds as the Seychelles Islands. Here,
surrounded by stunning mountainside and ocean vistas, golf becomes a
near-surreal experience as you tee-off into a world of cobalt skies, swaying
coconut palms and shimmering sapphire waters and with a wide choice of other
attractions and activities to enchant you and your partner when you’re not
golfing.
Mahé Island has a 4922-yard, 9-hole course nestled between the mountainside
and the ocean at Anse aux Pins, centrally located on its east coast. Featuring
spectacular fairways, this attractive, deceptively short course is playable all year
round and provides cafeteria services and professional lessons on request. A
further 18-hole championship golf course is planned for Aurore Island, off
Mahé’s north eastern coast.
Seychelles’ other golf course is an 18-hole championship course located at the
Lémuria Resort on Praslin Island. This challenging, par 70 course set amid the
verdant, rolling valleys of an island so spectacularly beautiful it was once
thought to be the original site of the Garden of Eden, takes the game of golf to
the next level.
