Welcome to Kinn’s Sport Fishing! We would like to thank those of
you who have fished with us in the past and welcome those that are
thinking about trying us for the first time. Kinn’s Sport Fishing is a
fulltime charter service, operating 7 days a week.
Our fleet consists of 10 large, well equipped boats. With our large
capital investments in boats and lodging, we are uniquely qualified
to handle both large corporate and small groups.
We own and operate 10 luxury lakefront condominiums. They are
completely furnished for your exclusive use, and have all the amenities
to enhance your fishing trip.
Our entire staff is fully trained, licensed and insured. Our captains
and mates have the tools and incentives to assure you experience a
successful fishing trip. We provide all equipment so all guests can
look forward to an enjoying and stress free fishing trip.
Our season begins in Mid-April from Winthrop Harbor, IL where
we target Coho Salmon. Our summer-fall fishing begins in late May
from Algoma, WI (our home port). Algoma is the leading port for both
Steelhead and King Salmon (our specialty) in Wisconsin.
We understand that our business depends on our reputation to
provide a memorable experience for each and every one of our guests.
We appreciate repeat bookings and always strive to assure guests
leave as both friends and satisfied clients.

Our season starts approximately April 15th,
with fast action on Coho Salmon and Brown
Trout. Warm water concentrates these
fish close to shore. A great way to start
your Spring fishing season!

This is simply the best time and place for
“Fun Fishing” as all species of Trout and
Salmon are active and concentrated close to
shore. We should experience nearly a 100%
success ratio here on “Limit Catches” again.

The Finest In Summer – Fall Trout And Salmon Fishing!
May 20 - July 15
This is one of our most consistent fishing
periods of the season. This is an excellent
time for all types and sizes of Trout and
Salmon. We see large Kings in addition
to excellent mixed bag catches.
July 16 - August 31
The Chinook Salmon have grown a little larger
and by the end of August are getting ready
to enter the streams to spawn. We continue
to experience excellent catches of Chinook
Salmon and Brown Trout in addition to the
ever popular Steelhead fishing. September 1 - October 15
September normally offers the best chance
for a very large Chinook Salmon as they are
at their peak size. They are now available
in shallow water. We also take some nice
catches of Steelhead and Salmon late in

Lake Michigan is without question a place were Size does matter.
Although the boat may not be as important as the crew, it will have a
major impact on your fishing experience. The size and layout of the
boat chosen will help you achieve the comfort level you expect.
Although boats under 32 feet can catch fish, and smaller groups
of 4 or less may have enough room, they tend to be significantly
less stable and comfortable.
