Delicious Digital is a full service, one stop music production house founded in 2001.
Our studio based business specialises in custom music and bespoke audio solutions for the broadcast media and advertising industries.
Alongside our media music interests, we co-write and co-publish songs for commercial artists with other music publishers.
We also create music initiatives for brands and agencies.
Delicious has its own recording studios in west London that have hosted artists, bands, composers and producers.
Our experience in recording, high quality musicianship and live sound gives us a special quality that has proved extremely popular with
clients past and present.
Delicious has a fully owned library catalogue called “Delimusic”.
This is a specialist custom made catalogue of 2850 cues in 45 genres.
The catalogue has full metadata and is arranged into 100 albums/playlists.
Our clients are broadcasters, production companies, web, app, and game developers, agencies and brands and music supervisors.
We have won and been nominated for Promax and Music & Sound awards, Sony Radio awards for our imaging work, and been a part of
a number of creative teams awarded with Cannes Lions and BAFTA’s.
In the past 15 years we’ve scored many TV shows, branded the biggest channels, composed countless soundtracks for adverts &
promos, and made sonic logos and jingles for the biggest brands.
We have a strong belief in quality control, real musicianship, high-end digital production, taking pride in our work and we also make sure

Radio credits
BBC Radio 5 Live
When it came to creating a new musical identity and sound for the BBC’s live news and sport station, 5 Live chose Delicious Digital. We delivered a brand new package,
rich in contemporary electronica and exciting themes. A strong logo was created which was incorporated into a full on-air music package for news and sport. We also
provide bespoke music for promo campaigns.
BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra
The digital sister station to 5 Live also required new music to accompany the brand refresh. A new theme was composed and the new 5 Live logo was incorporated
to keep the brand strong across both stations.
BBC Radio 2
Delicious Digital has been a music imaging company of choice of Radio 2 for many years. From the “Popmaster” quiz with Ken Bruce to show jingles, promo beds
and music for TV campaigns. Delicious Digital has spent many years understanding the Radio 2 brand and is a trusted provider of music and idents to the UK’s most
popular station.
BBC 6 Music
BBC 6 Music chose Delicious Digital to create the ident package for the launch of the national music station. The brief was to produce an audio logo and music pack
that was different to everything else on the radio. The result was a innovative imaging pack which mixed contemporary sounds and classic instruments designed to
reflect the broad offering that the station promised.. Delicious Digital also produced a new approach to Top of Hour mixes to demonstrate the music and style of the
new station.
BBC Radio 1
Delicious is a rostered music company for Radio 1 delivering music for daytime and specialist promos, themes and features. Our most recent work is the current
music package for the Official Chart with Greg James. Delicious created a full programme package for Friction’s Saturday night Radio 1 show including stings, beds
and a show opener; but is perhaps best known for delivering a fresh R&B and hip-hop package co-written and featuring UK talent Estelle, in 2004.
BBC Radio 1Xtra
Our team of urban music specialists create the freshest tracks for 1Xtra for promo campaigns and programmes, including show openers and talk-over beds.
BBC Radio 4
Delicious Digital has composed a custom score and imaging pack for BBC Radio 4’s programme; The Briefing Room. The Briefing Room is a topical current affairs
programme presented by David Aaronovitch and follows important issues in the news.
95.8 Capital FM
London’s Hit Music station chose Delicious Digital to make a series of promo beds and intro id’s.
OpenLab.FM
Seminal artist Robert Miles has built a brand new radio project celebrating all things new in music, art, design and innovation. Delicious delivered a creative concept
for the on-air branding and scripted, recorded and produced the liners to brand the output of this futuristic project.
Strongroom Alive
When the world famous music studios wanted to brand their online radio project, they chose Delicious. We delivered a unique sonic logo and image pack reflecting
the diverse nature of the music coming out of the Strongroom. Our imaging work provided clear water from the traditional, commercial radio stations competing for
listeners.
Rizla Radio
Rizla Radio broadcasts music and content from music festivals across the UK online. They chose Delicious to create a fresh way of branding these shows. We
produced audio identity, original music beds and brought the Rizla brand to life in a new way.
ABBA Radio
When Universal Music asked us to turn ABBA into a media brand, we created a jingle package made from ABBA classics and carefully scripted specialist voiceovers. The result, an entertaining brand identity for the greatest pop band ever.
Big 92.7 FM
This is India’s largest group of commercial radio stations spanning the whole country.When Adlabs Entertainment won the licenses to broadcast they chose Delicious
Digital to create an on-air ident package for India’s first commercial network of radio stations. It was our reputation for branding the biggest BBC channels that led
them to us and we delivered a huge on air package of music beds, jingles, sweepers and logos.
Eins Live
Germany’s hit music station required new imaging and new styles of promo and on-air work. They chose Delicious Digital to make something different from the rest
and we delivered idents, show intros and music beds.
FCUK FM
Delicious Digital turned radio on its head by creating the “anti jingle” package for the award winning radio project for French Connection. Could we create a jingle
package that didn’t actually say the name of the station? Yes we could. By looking at the brand values of FC and truly understanding the concept of the project we
delivered the ultimate jingle package. We turned every radio cliché on its head and created something outstanding that was really different and exciting. We won a
Silver Sony Award for the on-air promos that across the station.

Natural World
Commissioned by BBC Natural History Unit for BBC2
Working with the Bristol based Natural History team, Delicious has composed three long form soundtracks for these ground breaking documentaries presented by
Sir David Attenborough. The first ‘Living With Baboons’ had a mixture of roots reggae fused with orchestral and African music. The second “Jaguars” is an electro/
acoustic soundtrack based around traditional Brazilian instrumentation. The most recent Jungle Animal Hospital followed the team in Ecuador.

Glory World Series
Glory World Kickboxing league is one of the lesser know global fighting organisations; but has a massive following internationally and is broadcast in over 200
territories. They chose us to compose all the music for their self-produced event coverage and forthcoming TV series spin-off, based on our strong multi-discplined
composition team. They asked to provide over 90 bespoke tracks for various aspects of the production; the music spans a variety of of hybrid orchestral, dubstep,
rock and hip-hop for a global audience.

Delicious has a history in delivering outstanding music across all the BBC for sporting events.We composed 2 pieces for Wimbledon coverage. For the ‘Today at
Wimbledon’ shows we made a track fusing electro beats and tennis sounds and for the court introductions during match play, we had a contemporary indie pop
track.

When the Six Nations rugby directors wanted a music package for their coverage, they chose delicious. We delivered an orchestral opening theme and 3 brand new
tracks for features, recaps and highlights.

Commonwealth Games
Commissioned by Red Bee Media for the BBC
We were commissioned to create a title theme and music package for the BBC’s coverage of the Commonwealth Games 2010 from Delhi. The music had to represent
India and its diversity and also provide a memorable branding tool that would make the games coverage stand out. We delivered a wonderful emotional piece, rich in
Indian instruments and vocals combined with the coolest western production techniques. The music was used across Radio, TV and Online and we won the MAS
Award for Best Titles and Branding for this work.
Celebrity Wish List
Commissioned by IDR productions for Five
When IDR wanted a heartfelt titles track for this celebrity led reality show, they had a brief needing a track full of emotion and happiness, they chose Delicious to
compose the track. We delivered a full programme package for the series on Five including titles, underscores and break bumpers.
BFBS News
Commissioned by Red Bee Media for BFBS
BFBS chose Delicious to compose a news music package for a new daily news sequence on the channel. It had to have a military style and be able to guide the
viewer through the opening sequence. The music approach was to create an interlocking track that retained warmth whilst being serious and professional. They
wanted an audio logo to move throughout the programme that clearly said “BFBS NEWS”.
Everest ER
Commissioned by Indus Films for BBC1 and BBC4
Indus chose Delicious Digital to compose titles and incidental music for this primetime documentary series. We delivered a beautiful soundtrack rich in original
sounds and melodies. There were plenty of tension sequences as well as joyous moments of triumph. The music had to reflect the environment and the channel
together. We delivered 20 pieces of wonderful incidental music to accompany the series.
Guinness World Records Smashed
Commissioned by Outline Productions for Sky1
Outline chose Delicious Digital to compose the music for their primetime factual entertainment extravaganza. An uptempo rock track full of heavy guitar riffs and
driving drums set up the programme and provided clear water from other music featuring on the channel. We completed the package with tension beds, stings and
break bumpers.

Commissioned by Endemol for BBC 2
Endemol chose Delicious Digital to compose the music for this BBC 2 cookery show. We delivered a funky titles piece and music beds, stings and stabs for the
show. The music had a nice combination of live playing and funky breaks in order to fit the audience and time slot. It also represented the feel and stars of the show
really well.
Mezainya: The Eye Of The Beholder
Commissioned by SABM for National Geographic Channel
Zinc Films working on behalf of Saowt Albadia Media commissioned Delicious Digital to compose a series of 14 tracks in a traditional Arabic style for a 60 minute
documentary focused on camels and the annual camel beauty pageant in the UAE known as the Mezainya. The commission included incidental music, titles and
break bumpers all composed in the Arabic scale using traditional Arabic instrumentation. This music not only had to reflect the setting and narrative, but also the
traditional nature of the Mezainya and the activity around it.

One year on from the original documentary, the story continued at the following years event. We created a score to reflect a greater focus on western influence at the
Mezainya, combined with a development of the original documentary tracks for characters who feature in the original.

This house moving show has been on the air for more than 10 years. BBC1 chose Delicious Digital to compose a timeless titles track and collection of incidental
music beds. The theme has become a daytime classic playing everyday.

Two Hands chose Delicious Digital to compose a lyric led theme explaining the story of Max and Scratch, the main characters in the show. Made for a preschool
audience this music featured Basement Jaxx singer Elliot May. The show ran as part of the Milkshake sequence for kids on Five.

For the end of year news review show, the BBC chose Delicious Digital to compose a titles package that had a contemporary and serious feel. We composed an
anthemic rock track with an underscore for talkovers and picture sequences.

Endemol chose Delicious Digital to compose a package of incidental music to run under the Miss World programmes. The brief was contemporary dance grooves
with an African influence. The competition was broadcast from Sun City and the music featured in the “You Decide” programmes as well as the main award

Dish Up

We were briefed to re-record The Jackson 5's ABC as authentically as possible and record new lyrics. The animation required us to source lots of singers to play the
characters while making sure that the singing was the highest quality. We brought in Kush, Terri Walker and Dan Bowskill and laid down real instruments through
vintage gear to get the best sound.
We followed the music with a great foley session, recording sounds to picture and then finished off with a v/o session to complete the soundtrack.
Discovery New Season

When Discovery needed a custom soundtrack for their 2015 promo they came to delicious. We delivered a composition rich in emotion and excitement. We recorded
everything live and worked to picture along with Discovery producers to make sure we captured the essence of the trailer and delivered a great cue on time, on
budget and on point!

We have created the soundtracks for the BBC World Darts Championships for 3 years running.
Working for Red Bee Media we re-record classic hits and twist the vocals for the trailers.
We pay the upmost respect to the original works, re-recording instruments and re-creating original production to make the music feel as close to the original works
as possible.
This year we made "Good At Darts" - from the Bluebells classic "Young At Heart".
Last year it was the Whitney Houston track - "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" (Promax Bronze) and in 2014 we made our own version of DISCO by Ottowan
winning a Gold at Promax.

We were delighted when we received a call from our clients saying they wanted to use a version of The Chain that we had recorded for the brand new F1 promo
campaign for the BBC.
The track retains all of the heritage of the classic Fleetwood Mac but with a contemporary twist.
We fully recorded all the elements with vintage gear to keep the sound authentic and then added some delicious sparkle to it.
The Masters Golf

When Red Bee Media wanted a soundtrack to accompany the promo for the BBC's coverage of the Masters from Augusta they called on Delicious.
Our brief was to create a percussive composition using natural sounds - birdsong, insects, wind in the tress with a flavour of Augusta and of course GOLF. Good Food

Our brief was to create a new version of "My Favourite Things" from The Sound of Music for a series of trails.
There are many covers of this track and we had to deliver something that had never been heard before.
They wanted a modern, lighthearted recording that would work well with a clip based trail and bring a sense of fun and comedy to the campaign.
BBC Music Nation

When Red Bee wanted a custom soundtrack for their Music Nation trails, they chose Delicious. The brief was to compose a piece of music that brought their
animation idea to life and represent the concept of covering the nation in the sound of music. The key was to make a specially composed track that made the most of
the range of instruments and sounds used in the classical, jazz and world repertoire. Minimalist in style the music had to highlight the relationship between the
colours in the animation and the sound.
Dr Who Happy Birthday
Commissioned by Red Bee Media for UKTV
We were initially approached with the question - 'do we have the talent and equipment to make crazy radiophonic workshop-type sounds and alien noises?' The
instant answer was of course, a resounding 'Yes'.
The concept was a rendition of 'happy birthday' by Dr Who's arch enemies and foes. We were presented with a collection of clips of historical villains from the last 50
years, some of which had audio and some of which didn't. First of all we created a spooky, radiophonic-style backing track, to sonically glue the whole piece
together. We then had to accurately recreate the monster voices to sing in turn the 'happy birthday' lyrics.
Commonwealth Games
Commissioned by Red Bee Media for the BBC
We were commissioned to create a bespoke soundtrack for the promo campaign for the BBC’s coverage of the Commonwealth Games 2010 from Delhi. The music
was written to accompany a story of a small boy running to fly his kite with his father in Delhi. We delivered a wonderful emotional piece, rich in Indian instruments
and vocals that told the story combined with the coolest western production techniques. The music was used across Radio, TV and Online and we won a Music &
Sound Awards award for Best TV Promo for this work.
Tango
Commissioned by BBH / Freewheelin Media
Delicious composer Nick Hill (aka Lomax) has written a bespoke track for a new campaign for Tango. This is an artist lead sync and delicious has been involved in
the production and artist management. It’s a killer DnB track and Lomax began an artist initiative with Tango by playing at the Underage Festival and appeared on
cans of Tango in the UK.
Defiance
Commissioned by NBC Universal for SyFy
We got a call from the SyFy Channel in New York to create a bespoke soundtrack to a video promo for their new series and computer game project - Defiance. This
was for the project launch at Comic-Con, the key introduction to fans and industry alike. We composed a vocal rock track with a slight folky and medieval feel; we did
this to picture in just a few days to great success.
Pan-Am
Commissioned by BBC2
When BBC2 were launching their frontline TV drama Pan-Am they came to us to create a bespoke cover for their TV and online promo. They wanted us to cover
Destiny’s Child ‘Independent Woman’ with a retro feel in the style of Fifties songstress Julie London. We successfully rewrote the backing track and recorded a new
vocal in that style to critical acclaim; we even had a bunch of calls at the office asking for a full version of the track!
Hannibal
Commissioned by NBC / Universal
Delicious were invited to pitch for promo music for NBC’s forthcoming TV series - Hannibal; they requested a glitchy, operatic horror piece, with a real sense of
dissonance, which we duly provided.
Pure Football
Commissioned by Ubisoft for online
One of the world’s biggest game creators commissioned 3 bespoke soundtracks for commercials for their new football game Pure Football. Electro beats and
pulsating basslines drive through the tracks bringing the animated sequences to life and positioning the games perfectly for the consumer.
Dr Who – The Journey
Commissioned by Red Bee Media for pan BBC and cinema.
Delicious was chosen to compose an original track for a huge promo campaign to introduce the new Dr Who, Matt Smith. The piece needed to be magical and
powerful and appeal to a wide audience. A 5.1 mix was made to accompany the 3D cinema versions that were broadcast alongside TV and radio.
Virgin Atlantic

For the 2nd year running Rainey Kelly chose Delicious for the Virgin Atlantic radio campaign 2009. This year Delicious beat the January Blues with an original blues
track brought to life by 4 great singers. The whole campaign was based around the blues and we composed and produced the perfect soundtrack.
Dairylea
Commissioned by JWT for national commercial TV and online
JWT had an old reggae track that they couldn’t clear because they didn’t even know who it was by. They chose Delicious Digital to compose a piece. “Cobra Dub”
was produced, edited and mastered to picture and we worked closely with the creative’s at JWT to produce the perfect soundtrack to the ad campaign.

There is a growth of 24 hour news channels in Bangladesh and Delicious has been responsible for branding many of them. The important thing is to provide
clearwater, musically, from the competition. Ekkatur is designed to be the most technological advanced and editorially forward thinking of the all the Bangladesh
channels and needed music and identity to represent that. Delicious created a full ident package including news branding, programme openers and themes for the
whole channel. Our experience composing contemporary music with authentic Asian instrumentation was called for.

Bibigon is Russia’s national children’s channel and the brainchild of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Red Bee chose Delicious Digital to compose a music logo and
music package for idents, promos and junctions across the channel. The channel is described as “A world of discovery for hungry minds” so we composed a
futuristic sound that was playful and interesting for young ears.

Channel 24 launched in 2012 and they needed composed unique branding and music to shape the channel. Although Channel 24 is mostly news, it also has an
entertainment angle and the music had to represent a news/lifestyle angle. We delivered news identity, programme themes and music beds for the whole id
package. Again our experience branding the world’s biggest news channels and creds in Asia made us the No1 choice.

When Geometry was looking for a mnemonic for the rewards brand ‘Nectar’ they came to Delicious.
The logo should be fun, modern and connected and needed to say that Nectar rewards you with extra when you shop. The challenge was to create something in 1.5
seconds!

Delicious has once again teamed up with LA's Grooveworx to successfully create the sonic logo for Rdio, the new streaming music service brought to you by the
team behind Skype.
We were briefed to create a sound mark that branded the company.
Samsung Mobile USA
Samsung Mobile in the USA wanted to develop a signature ring tone that could evolve into a sonic logo. They chose Delicious Digital to start the creative process
and we delivered a series of audio branding ideas with new sounds, new logo ideas and lots of variations to demonstrate the use of the music in different areas
including ring tones. Some of the work featured in the recent TV spots made by Leo Burnett across the US.
Virgin Galactic
Branding space flight is a tricky business. Virgin Galactic needs to be exciting, modern and futuristic without being scary and fictional. The musical identity of the
brand now forms the basis of a signature theme that has been adapted in many ways for various uses. It has to say Virgin Galactic.
Colgate
Delicious was commissioned to create a brand mnemonic for Colgate to lead out a global advertising campaign to be launched in South America before being used
worldwide. We developed a series of logo’s following a number of creative sessions with the client and agency. We continued to hone the mnemonic to a final
version that will be used in 2013.
RDF Media
When one of the UK’s largest independent production companies needed a simple, modern and unique sonic logo to end every RDF programme they chose
Delicious Digital. It needed to represent the forward thinking, creative and contemporary brand values of RDF.
BBC Radio 5 Live
5 Live chose Delicious Digital to create a unique sonic logo that could be integrated into a complete music package to brand the station. The logo has given the station a
new identity and made it stand out from the competition on the dial. The logo also features across 5 Live’s TV promos.
Big 92.7FM
The most listened to radio jingle in the world. Big 92.7’s logo is heard across the whole of India on FM and online. After a huge research project and many ideas
delivered, The team at Big FM chose a melodic phrase composed by Delicious Digital which went on to appear as the main melody throughout the whole package.

Delicious Digital has created a variety of music and media products for Virgin Galactic over the past 5 years. When it came to a film to demonstrate the excitement of
commercial space travel and the opportunities to get involved, Virgin Galactic had very particular music brief. It had to be a perfect balance of documentary and
fantasy. The music had to generate the thrill of the journey while maintaining credibility and seriousness of the venture. Delicious Digital composed a score for the
film that delivered all this and more. The theme went on to become the music identity of the brand and combined the grandeur of an orchestral package with a
contemporary production style. Delicious Digital also produced bespoke sound design for the film creating original effects for the sound of Spaceship One for take
off, flight and landing. The music was scored to picture and has been shown and played all over the world.
Virgin Galactic – Let The Journey Begin

When designers Seymour Powell made an animated film showing the latest designs and demonstrating the Galactic experience they chose Delicious Digital to
produce the soundtrack. We remixed the Virgin Galactic theme that we had previously composed and created a new version that was less orchestral and much more
contemporary. Heavy beats and more sound design really brought the film to life. We incorporated the sonic logo keeping the music and film on brand all the way.

Virgin decided to have a bespoke sound to picture soundtrack made for their group reel and chose Delicious Digital to compose it. Understanding the true brand
values of Virgin was essential to make sure that we had the right style and approach for the music. The bespoke track meant that the Virgin brand was always at the
forefront of the film without having to compete with any established artists or bands brand values. By composing to picture we were able to deliver a full length track
which changed in pace, style and emotion throughout.
Virgin Media – The Red House

When Virgin Media launched, they commissioned a film to show the proposition of the new company. Virgin Media chose Delicious Digital to compose the music for
this film. They knew we had a true understanding of the Virgin brand and experience bringing pictures to life with great original music. The track positioned the
brands as futuristic, original and confident in their launch. It was this music that gave birth to the Virgin “swoosh” which went on to become the audio identity for the
brand running with the Infinity logo.

To document the launch of Virgin Media across the whole of the UK, Virgin Media commissioned a film that showed all the activity and press taking place. Delicious
Digital provided an original soundtrack for the film called “The Lights Go Red”. This music captured the fun and excitement of the day and fitted the brand perfectly.

sounds as a soundtrack to a great animation. Having previously worked together on Virgin Galactic the project went very smoothly. The music needed to have a

Abu Dhabi based Alchemy Films came to us for a launch film for new marina development; we were enlisted to create an epic piece that helped emphasise the scale

Glory World Series
Commissioned by Glory World
Following our commission to write bespoke music for the Glory World broadcast package they also engaged us to compose music for their massive live Kickboxing
events. We composed a number of themes for fighters, music for pre-fight and in-between rounds as well as intro’s, winning themes and other incidental music for
VT pieces. Glory events are usually for between 5000 and 25000 fight fans in major cities around the globe; so we created a really big commercial sound for them.
Jaguar
Commissioned by Imagination
We were commissioned by Imagination to create a piece of music for a in-store mood video that would feature in various Jaguar dealers. We composed an
interesting downbeat electronica piece with a cutting edge feel; the video was widely used across Jaguars network of dealerships as well as online and at
exhibitions.PRS for Music @The British Music Experience.The PRS came to us to help create a audio visual exhibit that would be a permanent fixture at the British
Music Experience at the O2 in London. We created a video for them that featured some of the greatest British songwriters of all time with examples of their music.
We delivered sound design work to tie all the various tracks together with smooth and seamless transitions.
Sensodyne
Commissioned by Projection Advertising / Grey London
To celebrate the launch of Sensodyne’s new Repair and Protect toothpaste, Projection Advertising were asked by Grey London to create an interactive videomapping show for an event a the London Science Museum. Drawing inspiration from Sensodyne’s concept of ‘repair and protect’; the projection showed the
Museum being destroyed and then rebuilt. Visitors to the exhibit hit a customised punchbag that would allow event-goers to ‘destroy’ the building before watching it
magically repair itself. We created a bespoke soundtrack to the event and also created the sounds of the building being destroyed and repaired.
Carlsberg
Commissioned by Projection Advertising
We were commissioned to deliver sound design for two projection mapping projects to help launch the brand new campaign for Carlsberg - ‘That calls for a
Carlsberg’. We successfully delivered two epic soundscapes for events at the White Cliffs of Dover and at Liverpool Street station.
Peugeot
Commissioned by Projection Advertising
For the launch of their Motion & Emotion Campaign in Brazil, Peugeot arranged an incredible 4D video-mapping show featuring a variety of new technologies. Using
a unique gesture-controlled tracking system and real-time graphics rendering, a mystery man in white was able to control the path of the projection as though it were
a video game. The video of the event has received over 5.4 million hits on Youtube, and features an array of our bespoke music and sound design created in
conjunction with the CGI team.

French Connection
FCUK Music
Delicious extended the fashion brand into music and media at the height of its success. We introduced the FCUK brand into Europe by connecting it with urban,
cutting edge music and putting on several high profile music events in key cities including Amsterdam and Copenhagen.
Strongroom ALIVE
AIR Entertainment Group
Delicious created a brand led radio station for Strongroom centred around the studio and restaurant/bar complex in Shoreditch, London. The station was built to help
position the Strongroom brand as an exciting creative business and raise the public facing profile of the brand. We successfully created a schedule including shows
from VICE Magazine, Ninja Tune, Dazed & Confused, Moshi Moshi and loads more as well as syndicating content from Red Bull Music Academy. This radio platform
was a great success with up to 25,000 visitors per day to the website.
Ibiza OpenLab
Delicious were enlisted as consultants to a new radio station and media facility in Ibiza. This new media centre will include studios, outdoor performance area,
accommodation and radio studios. We consulted on the branding and radio
aspects of the project, defining the audience, schedule, music policy, long-term planning, audience building amongst other things.
ABBA
Delicious are experts in turning commercial brands into music and media brands. When Universal Music briefed us to deliver creative music solutions to extend the
ABBA brand, we brought forward an idea to create ABBA radio. A good times feel good radio station that makes you happy every time you listen. Just like when you
are with your friends and family dancing to ABBA! Universal commissioned the concept and a pilot which has been presented to Benny & Bjorn in Sweden.
FCUK FM
We successfully turned the fashion brand into a media brand and delivered a fully-fledged 24 hour a day radio station – FCUK FM. It was the first brand owned radio
station to obtain a public broadcast license and was broadcast in every main store in the UK, USA, Japan and Australia. The station was also broadcast on its own
channel on Sky Digital. In broadcasting terms, it gained industry recognition by winning a Sony Radio Award Gold for best music programme, seeing off the best that
could be provided by the BBC and traditional commercial radio. In commercial terms, FCUK’s sales increased by 6%, more than twice the projected target, also
harvesting an estimated £1m PR.
FCUK Shaggy
We remixed the soundtrack to a TV campaign made by TBWA and recorded by international superstar Shaggy. The Garage and DnB mixes were pressed onto
limited edition 10” vinyl and mailed to tastemaker DJ’s and radio.
Rizla Podcasts
We were invited to put forward ideas as to how Rizla can extend the reach of their experiential Invisible Players offering to a broader audience online. Delicious
identified that music and DJ’s were a fundamental part of these experiences; as well as the rich production value of the Rizla stage and great atmosphere of the
events. From this an opportunity was identified for enabling consumers to share and re-live all these aspects online. Delicious created a series of 20 stream-ondemand programmes covering the live events. We developed and composed a bespoke sonic identity for Rizla around the Invisible Players DJ’s and the summer
festival vibe. We sent one of our team to the events to interview DJ’s and festival-goers alike at each of the festivals; as well as arranging a high quality recording set
up at each event to record music, mc’s and crowd reactions. Each of these hour-long programmes featured interviews with the featured and guest artists, vox-pops
from the attending crowds, live recordings of performances and crowd responses.
Knowledge Podcasts
Knowledge Magazine is an urban music publication that interviews a number of salient artists on a regular basis. We were asked to present this successful
magazine in an audio format. We made a monthly hour-long podcast available online and from iTunes. Delicious Digital has a great deal of experience in radio and
music production as well as a strong grounding in D&B, with nearly a hundred D&B releases between the staff.
