Please accept this letter as a reminder that our Annual Scholarship Golf
Outing will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014, at the Five Ponds Golf Club in
Warminster. To better accommodate our golfers we have moved the event from a
Thursday morning to a Friday afternoon – a great way to start your weekend! All of
us at the Greater BucksMont Chamber of Commerce welcome your participation in
our event and we expect the day to be filled with great golf, fabulous food, terrific
prizes, and excellent networking opportunities.
The Golf Outing is our only source of funding for the Scholarships
we award each year to Seniors from each of our surrounding High Schools:
Archbishop Wood, William Tennent and the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology.
As in previous years, we are looking for sponsors of all types and we
welcome any contributions or donations that you can make to the Annual
Scholarship Outing. The outing offers you the opportunity to gain additional
exposure for your business through sponsorships, tee signs, door prizes and any
appropriate “give-aways” you would like us to include in our golfer gift bags.
We make every effort to keep the costs down in an effort to generate as much
revenue as possible, and the contributions, sponsorships and tee signs are our
primary source of funding for the scholarships.
Please consider participating as a golfer, sponsor, or advertiser in this annual
event which supports our best and brightest students, who are all eager to begin their
college experience.
We are once again very thankful that we have Hatboro Federal Savings as
our Event Sponsor, and we ask that you pay particular attention to all of the other
sponsors indicated in the enclosed brochure. Please review the brochure for more
details about the golf, and if you can’t join us for golf, please consider joining us for
lunch or participating in any way you can.
