e-Boks is more than just a digital document filing system.
e-Boks is your life in paper – or rather electronic documents
– all gathered in one place. You can receive mail digitally from
the public sector, your bank as well as an increasing number
of private companies that regularly send window envelopes
to their customers. Having everything gathered electronically
in one place provides order and security. Last, but not least,
you can get rid of endless piles of paper and rows of binders.
Receive your payslip
in your e-Boks
As of xxxxxxxxxxxxxx you will receive your payslip in your
e-Boks. That way you will always know where to find it. If you
do not already use an e-Boks, you must open it to be able to
see your payslip in the future.
e-Boks is your personal online document filing system that
gives you the option of choosing not to receive window
envelopes from your bank, the public sector and others. Everything is stored in one place. Filed in folders, as you wish.
Open your personal e-Boks at www.e-boks.dk. It is easy,
secure and free of charge.
Moreover, you can upload and save important personal
documents, such as your birth certificate and marriage licence,
copies of family photographs, or photographs of valuables
for insurance purposes.
Receive your

Your payslip is sent electronically to e-Boks. This means
that you do not have to worry about binders and window
envelopes. It is easy, secure and free of charge.

A paperless future
Getting started
e-Boks is a service for those who do not want to waste their
time and energy dealing with letters and paper piles. It is a
digital way of receiving post from the public sector and private
companies. e-Boks not only provides you with the option of
receiving all these types of letters digitally. You can also save
your personal documents – sorted and filed automatically in
accordance with your wishes. Easy, secure and free of charge.
Getting started with e-Boks is easy. When you log on for the first
time, you will see a list of banks, organisations and companies
from which you can receive documents in your e-Boks. It is
completely up to you to decide which of these you would like to
add to your list.
You can also use your digital signature. To order a PIN, please
go to www.e-boks.dk. Within a couple of days, you will receive
your personal PIN by post. Then you will be able to log on to
e-Boks.

Access from all over the world
In addition to receiving documents, you can also place
important documents in e-Boks. You have 1 MB available for
storage completely free of charge. For instance, you can
scan and save your birth certificate or marriage licence in
e-Boks to store them securely. If you eventually need extra
space for certificates, photographs or budgets, you can
purchase extra storage space for your documents in e-Boks.

Though you may not be aware of it, you already have an
e-Boks. All you have to do is open it. To do that, use the password for your Danish online banking service – net-ID.

You decide how your document is filed. It is simple to
create folders and to move the content as you wish. You can
also choose to have new mail filed automatically.

piles in search of a document are over. e-Boks makes it easy for
you to keep track of account statements, payslips and more in
your own online filing system.

Easy access from your online banking service
e-Boks is integrated into most Danish online banking services.
This means that you have direct and easy access to e-Boks
– without using additional PINs.

Via the Internet, you can easily and securely access
your e-Boks regardless of where you are in the world. All you
have to do is log on to e-Boks via the Internet using your
preferred password.
Completely personal – through all life’s phases
e-Boks is linked to your Danish CPR number (personal
identification number). This means that your documents will
remain stored, regardless of whether you move, change e-mail
address, change name, etc.
Security
The data that you accumulate in e-Boks will be stored securely
at the IT company, KMD. Your documents will therefore
always be available, even if your PC breaks down. Data sent
via e-Boks to and from you will be encrypted with a so-called
128-bit SSL encryption. This encryption prevents others from
accessing your data, such as your CPR number.
Freedom of choice
With just a few clicks, you can decide from which
public organisations and private companies you would like
to receive documents in your e-Boks.
