KITEZONE MOZAMBIQUE is organizing the 2nd edition of the Mozambique Kite Boarding Open 2013, with the
support of MOKA (Mozambique Kiteboarding Association).
This event will be held in Maputo, at CLUB MARITIMO, between the 12th to the 15th December 2013.
Places are limited and all meals and accommodation are included in the registration fee.

Standard of Competence: You must be able to launch and land unassisted in full control and safely in a given area. Stay up
wind in normal conditions. If you are deemed unsafe you will be taken off the water.
Obligations: You must read the rules, be available for photos and wear / display sponsors logos while in competition.

supervision you also acknowledge this.

 09:00 -Introduction briefing: inscription of each kitesurfer for the competitions, schedule of the
competition, rules, random draws for starting positions and heats, etc.
 11:00 - Brunch
 12:00 – Transfer of the riders to Race location start
 14:00 – Start of the race (pros start first and amateurs follow)
 16:00 – First round of the Freestyle amateur qualifications
 17:00 - End of the day
 18:00 – Opening Ceremony at Southern Sun Maputo
 From 20:30 – Evening drinks and party.
Saturday 14th of December – Freestyle and King of the Air qualifications
 8:30 – Transfer to Event Location - Maritimo
 9:00 – Briefing of the day: Heats for Freestyle and Mega Loop qualifications
