I have received so much positive feedback about the course, and the venue from so many people. HUGE thank you to Tom Heneghan, for allowing us to use his farm and for doing the setup of the course. It was very much appreciated. We now have a team of 15 who will represent our school at the County Cross Country next Wednesday afternoon. Good luck to Sasha, Ollie M, Tyler, Sam, Pippo, Jazz, Daniel, Sarah, Billie, MacKenzie, Stella, Jake J, Michael M, Matthew H and Alex. There has been a very definite change in the weather with much colder temperatures being experienced. It is a good time to check back at our Uniform Policy to see that your child is wearing the correct uniform for this time of year. In particular, pay note to the section about undershirts. Over the next week or two we will be welcoming a number of new students to our school as new dairy farm workers and their families join our community. Because of their kind and caring nature, I know that the students at school will make our new people feel right at home. That’s all from me, have a great weekend everyone Kind regards Anthony ASSEMBLY AWARDS Toroa Michael Vaiavai was awarded a Pride in Our Thinking Certificate for wonderful wondering about the world around us Michael Munro was awarded a Pride in Our Thinking Certificate for mature thought processes in group discussions and a positive attitude towards learning Ollie Munro was awarded a Pride in Our Thinking Certificate for wonderful wondering about the world around us.
