Introduction
PTTEP SP Limited has
developed the Sinphuhorm
gas field in Petroleum
Concession Blocks E5N and
EU-1 in Northeastern to fulfill
the key objective of supplying
natural gas, via a pipeline, to
the Electricity Generating
Authority of Thailand (EGAT)
Nam Phong Power Plant.
Sinphuhorm came on stream
since November 2006 with a
production capacity of 135
million standard cubic feet of
gas per day (MMscfd).

Project Description
The Sinphuhorm Natural Gas field EIA comprises the following key project elements:

Infield Facilities: Facilities located within the Sinphuhorm area where the gas is
produced and gathered primarily comprising three Well Sites (Wellpad A, B and C),
Infield Flowlines, Access Road and a Camp Site.
Pipeline: The pipeline system which transports wellfluids from the infield facilities to a
gas processing plant. The pipeline length is about 63 km with a nominal diameter of 16
inches.
Gas Processing Plant (GPP): This facility processes the wellfluids to produce sales gas
for the Nam Phong Power Plant. The GPP was designed to produce up to 135 MMscfd
of sales gas, to handle about 100 barrels per day of produced water and 500 barrels
per day of condensate.

Public Consultation
Consultation is an integral part of the EIA process and it encompasses 3 key
concepts:
• Information dissemination;
• An interactive, two-way flow of information, views and ideas between
stakeholders and the project proponent; and
• Participation, building on the consultation approach and involving the
project proponent and its stakeholders working in collaboration to identify
issues, evaluate outcomes and develop solutions.

Bund will be built surrounding drilling area with potential of contamination
limiting the construction activities only inside the Right of Way (ROW) and laying
down the underground pipeline at the intersection area of water sources or
