Solo Report

It's official the 2015 solo season has started.
We had our first points event of the season on April
19 at the Wilmington Airpark. The weather wasn't
very cooperative on that day, but we had 64 people
show up for an amazing day of racing. The day
before that the Cincinnati region hosted a Starting
Line school, which was a great success. Our next
events are a Test and Tune on May 23 and our
second points event of the year on May 24. These
events will be on the pad at Wilmington Airpark.
We are looking for volunteers to help set up the
orange snow fence prior to these events, May 21st
& 22nd. If you are interested or available to help out,
please let us know. [email protected]
The following weekend of May 29-31 we will
be hosting our first of three National Events for the
2015 season. This event will be a Pro-Solo and it
has already been sold out. We will be looking for
volunteers to help work course during the Pro-Solo
Shoot out on Sunday May 31. The shoot out
usually starts around 1 pm and lasts until
approximately 4 pm. We also need volunteers to
help with waivers during the Pro-Solo if you are
interested in volunteering to help make this years
National Events even more successful than last
years events please contact us. Any help is greatly
appreciated.

Robling in his Elise with Chad Kallmeyer with his
Mini were best in class. Myke Dziengel in his WRX
sti in Street Touring Open bested 15 entries and was
followed by, Tavis Spencer, Nathan Roberts,
Obren Williams and Pat Witte, while the rest of the
field watched as the rain washed their pain away.
The day seemed evenly split dry then rain.
FTD went to Kent Weaver with a 37.775 raw time,
adding pax just didn't matter.
RALLYCROSS

participating in 4 or more WOR or OVR Rallycross
events are eligible for year end trophys.
Awards will be given for the following classes; SA,
SF, SR, PA, PR, PF, MA, MR, MF.

PE #1 Results
In the class battles, many drivers got their first
points toward individual class wins, Philip Viars,
Michael McKay, Justin King. It was great to see
Jerry Cabe in a return to Street class with his
Mazdaspeed Miata and Claire Frimming in her
Mazdaspeed 3 in GSL. SSR The Weavers, Kent
and Crissy sandwich our own Brian Schafer.
Novice with 12 entries/4 trophys John and
Alexander Albrecht in the 2 top spots followed by
Fares Ahmad and Jaymond Holland, they and the
rest of the novices got a lesson of racing in the rain.
Hope to see you all at the next event. X-pro Robert
Drake in a Mini JCW bested David Santel and three
others, while in Street Open 11 drivers were lead by
John Roflow, David Ache, Tom Giordano and
Tyler Schaffer to the trophys. Street Prepared
Open saw Chase Heikkila in a Miata and Gavin
Narburgh in a MG Midget top the field, with Scott
Bitzer in the wings with his new ride, BMW 318

ANNOUNCEMENT
This is a notice to give you a heads up that ONLINE
REGISTRATION for BOTH MAY EVENTS on the PAD
at the Wilmington Air Park (May 23 Test & Tune AND
May 24 Points Event #2) will open at 7PM on
Wednesday MAY 6th!! Make sure to get to the
registration links on our SOLO Schedule & Results
Webpage when they appear on Wednesday night!
These will be popular events and we want to make
sure all of our members get an opportunity to sign
up!!
