MINEPRO grout mixer/pumps are designed specifically for the mining
industry. MINEPRO pumps are used extensively for cable bolt grouting
and will outperform all other existing grout pumps. They will allow the
mines to install high quality, grouted cable bolts at a much lower cost than
other pumps.
The MINEPRO line of pumps will last for years if they are properly
maintained. The maintenance and cleaning procedures are the simplest of
any mixer/pump on the market and can easily be carried out by the
operator.
MINEPRO pumps can be mounted on skids, wheels, or a customized
package. Dimensions and weight of the unit will vary depending on the
requirements of the end-user.
All of the MINEPRO pumps are capable of mixing and pumping a 0.3:1
water:cement ratio (by weight) grout using six (6) litres of water for each
20 kg bag of Portland cement.

B. HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS
The hydraulic systems on the MINEPRO MP3, LANGFORD and KANUK grout
mixer/pumps have been designed and built with State-of-the-Art hydraulic
technology and with some of the most efficient and cost effective components on
the market. Because of this design, long “trouble-free” life is assured with
minimal maintenance. To be specific, the maintenance needed for the hydraulic
system is the same as that required for an automobile engine – maintaining a
proper oil level in the reservoir and carrying out a regular filter change.
C. LOAD SENSING: THEORY OF OPERATION
The MINEPRO MP3, LANGFORD and KANUK grout pumps (hydraulic units)
use a load sensing system consisting of a variable displacement piston pump and a
special proportionally closed center directional control valve. The reason for using
such a system is that flow and pressure will only be produced upon demand and
only in quantities needed to perform useful work. As a result, a load sensing
system wastes very little energy and provides precise control without converting
significant amounts of energy into unwanted heat.
In a load sensing system, the pump receives a signal from the valve, “senses” the
amount of pressure necessary to turn the motor and adjusts the output flow to
match the speed selected by the position of the control handle on the valve.
The load sensing system results in a smaller reservoir being required for the
MINEPRO MP3, LANGFORD and KANUK grout pumps.
