» Complete flexibility
Our Red, Green and Blue Line tours are all seven-day itineraries, uniquely designed as circular tours so they can
be booked independently or combined. One of our unique selling point is that we let you decide where you want
to start and leave your tour. With a total of three interchange points: Paris, Lucerne and Frankfurt, plus eighteen
local joining points en route (see p.13), our joining options offer you complete flexibility to combine two or all three
tours to create a memorable 14 or 21 day European holiday.
» Great value, simple pricing
While our itineraries are varied and flexible, we keep our pricing simple. The great value all-in-one price from €73
per person per day includes all transport, three-star hotel accommodation, continental breakfast, excursions to
iconic locations as per the itinerary, and the services of an experienced tour manager. We also provide an exciting
range of optional sightseeing visits and guided tours to ensure you get maximum experience and enjoyment in
every destination.
» Our team of experts
We’ve been running tours of Europe for 28 years, and over that time we have built and developed a great team
of knowledgable, professional and friendly tour mangers. This means that not only are our itineraries carefully
crafted to cover the continent’s best sites, but that our tour managers are able to provide real insight and insider
knowledge throughout each tour. We also use the services of some excellent in-country local guides to offer
extra value to the major attractions.
» Comfort all the way
From days spent cruising through fine European landscapes in our modern air-conditioned coaches, to evenings
in our quality three-star hotels, we put your comfort first.
» Where we travel to...
Our Red, Green and Blue Line tours take our guests to some of Europe’s greatest destinations: France (Paris,
Reims, Nice, Cannes, Avignon); Monaco (Monte Carlo); Luxemburg; Germany (Trier, Koblenz, Bonn, Cologne,
Munich, Titisee); Netherlands (Amsterdam); Belgium (Brussels); Italy (Milan, Venice, Rome, Florence, Pisa,
Genoa); Vatican City; Czech Republic (Prague); Slovakia (Bratislava); Hungary (Budapest); Austria (Vienna,
Salzburg); Switzerland (Engelberg, Lucerne, Zurich, Rhine Falls). For full details, please see P.4-6 for the Red Line
itinerary, P.7-9 for the Green Line and P.10-12 for the Blue Line.
» Local experiences, international friendships
GoEuGo holidays offer both a local and a global experience. We use our associations with local guides to provide
a superb insight into cities, and we also show you the best places to sample some excellent regional cuisine
and mingle with local people. And as our English-speaking tours attract people from all over the world, enjoying
shared experiences together means that by the end of the tour our guests have often formed lasting international
friendships.

Your walking tour then takes you into the centre of Trier; here you can look around the
city’s impressive cathedral, where the celebrated Holy Robe – said to be the tunic of Christ
– is preserved and occasionally displayed. Trier is also known as ‘The Second Rome’
(Constantine served as an administrator here for 10 years), and significant legacies of
the once-great empire remain today. The highlight is undoubtedly Porta Nigra, the bestpreserved Roman city gate north of the Alps, which you’ll get to see and photograph.

Joining City
After an exciting morning in Trier, you’ll drive on to Koblenz, famous as the location of
the confluence of the Rhine and Mosel rivers. Here you have the option of indulging in
a relaxing lunch alongside the water, then afterwards you can also choose to add on
a scenic Rhine boat cruise for some memorable city vistas. Back on dry land you’ll
drive through the wine-making town of Rüdesheim. Then it’s on to Frankfurt am Main,
where you’ll discover the delights of Römerberg, a charming plaza with a distinctive
medieval town hall as its centrepiece. (B)

• Cities visited: Milan, Venice, Florence,
Rome, Pisa.
Your day in Rome starts with a visit to the smallest country in
the world, The Vatican City, which lies at the heart of the Italian
capital. Here you’ll marvel at St Peter’s Basilica, home to Pope
Francis and arguably the most significant site in Christianity. The
exquisitely beautiful Basilica has been present here for almost 1,700 years
and contains a bewildering collection of paintings, frescoes and design crafted by some
of humanity’s most famous artists, which you can explore. Alternatively you can choose
to add on the optional Sistine Chapel tour to view Michelangelo’s famous painted ceiling.
Next you’ll see the famous Trevi Fountain, the lavish Baroque showpiece where people
flock to throw coins into the water – an action which is said to ensure that you’ll return
to the city again one day. After lunch, take a step even further back in time as you visit
Italy’s unrivalled Roman relics. An optional guided tour of the Coliseum, built in AD 72, is
highly recommended. History comes to life as you imagine yourself witnessing gladiatorial
combat inside the spectacular amphitheatre, or alternatively you can walk at your leisure
around the outside to admire the facade of this ancient wonder.
After the Coliseum, get up close to the nearby Arch of Constantine, which dates back to
the fourth century AD, then spend some further free time enjoying Rome, sampling the
rich and creamy delights of “gelato” Italian ice cream. Next, you can choose to visit the
magnificent Basilique Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri near Piazza della Repubblica or
do a bit of shopping at the Mitsukoshi Department store before transferring to Florence in
the late evening. (B)
Hotel: 3* in Arrezzo or city nearby
Coffee and ice cream
Two things you must sample while in Italy are coffee and ice
cream. Italians take their coffee seriously, so whatever your
preference be sure to call in at a streetside cafe for an espresso,
latte or cappuccino. Another must-try is gelato (ice cream),
which in Italy is made with more whole milk than cream to give
it a distinct texture and often more intense flavour. Particularly
popular Italian varieties worth a lick include pistachio, lemon,
chocolate, and hazelnut.

You'll leave the big cities behind on Saturday morning and head
for one of the world's most famous mountain ranges - the Swiss
Alps. The first destination is Engelberg the stunning Swiss resort.
From here you can opt to board a cable car that takes you to the summit of the impressive
Mount Titlis (see box below). To reach to the top of the permanently snow-covered Mt.
Titlis is by a combination of gondolas over 3 stages.
You’ll ascend the last stage by the world’s first revolving gondola the Titlis Rotair, that
delivers spectacular views of the valleys, glaciers, lakes and forests below, and 360˚ vistas
of the surrounding mountains. At the summit the sun terrace is the perfect place to pause
and appreciate the breathtaking panoramas. There's a 150-metre ice cavern through the
core of a glacier to explore at the top. Other highlights include walking across Europe's
highest suspension bridge for more phenomenal views from Mt. Titlis.
You’ll come down from the hills to the lakeside for your next stop. Lucerne is a picturesque
city of bridges and towers located in what many people believe to be the "true"
Switzerland – picture-postcard Mountains, lakes, cowbells, Alpine villages and meadows
full of edelweiss flowers. Here you will have time to wander through the charming streets,
and see the famous Lion Monument, which Mark Twain once described as “the most
mournful and moving piece of stone in the world”. This is a great place to get souvenirs
