To learn more or to register online for this trip, go to: FootstepMinistries.org www. Walking Where the Word was Written Dear Friends, Elizabeth and I invite you to join us as we tour Greece and follow in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul. Our tour will trace the Apostle Paul’s journeys and promises to deepen your faith and enrich your understanding of early Christian history. We’ll explore the great cities of Classical and Hellenistic Greece and visit the first century Christian cities of Philippi, Thessaloniki, Berea, Athens, Corinth, Ephesus and Patmos. It is in these communities where the pivotal events of the early church will come alive as you explore the Scriptures in their original settings. We’ll also visit Vergina, site of the royal tombs, Meteora, with its towering monasteries, and Delphi, shrine of the ancient god Apollo. Of course, no tour would be complete without a cruise of the wonderful Greek islands, and we will bask in the brilliant sun and gaze at the deep blue seas of the Aegean. As we travel together I’ll be sharing insights with you into how the first century context shaped Paul’s gospel message and how his message of Jesus Christ continues today to inspire and encourage those who want to follow him. Elizabeth Iliadou Sparks is a native of Berea (Acts 17:11) and she’ll give you an insider’s view of her homeland, taking you off the beaten path to provide an unusually rich experience of Greek culture and cuisine. You will see and experience more than you can imagine in this enchanting land of beauty and history. You will find this tour to be an opportunity to gain a fresh perspective, and eye-witness experience, and a renewed appreciation for the mission, message and ministry of the Apostle Paul and the culture of modern Greece. I hope that you will consider joining us for this lifetime experience. Space is limited, so make your reservations soon! Come join us, David Sparks Rev. Dr. David Sparks President, Footstep Ministries
