BENEVOLENT BROK ERS
Making a Difference
Founded by two attorneys whose mission
is to make a positive impact in the community,
Realty Consultant Group (RCG) provides residential and commercial real estate services to primarily high-net-worth clients in and around
Beverly Hills. “Our clients are high-level professionals who have busy lives and look to us to seek
the best deal on their behalf, based on their
defined goals,” say Finestone and Rozales. “From
start to finish, we provide whatever our clients
need,” they say. “We work almost exclusively by
referral so our relationships are paramount. All of
our clients become personal friends because of
the relationships we develop and maintain.”
The partners met in law school at Pepperdine
University in 1992 and have been close friends and
business associates ever since. They share a commitment to giving back and a belief that we all succeed when we help each other. “Our company was
founded for the purpose of allowing us to give back
to the community while making a living,” Finestone
and Rozales say. “We chose the slogan ‘making a difference while earning your business’ to express that.
Beyond the Expected
“Obviously, the most important role we
play as real-estate brokers is representing
our clients’ best interest and negotiating the
best deal possible,” they say. “The fact that
we do that with excellence is assumed.
Working with high-net-worth clients requires
a higher level of expertise than most markets. Every really successful realtor in this
city has those skills. We set ourselves apart
by how we contribute to the lives of others—
including our clients.”
RCG gives five percent of every commission to the charity of the client’s choice in
the client’s name. “So, we know we are succeeding in our mission,” say Finestone and
Rozales. “We help our clients contribute to
the community by doing business with us that
they would have done regardless. We believe
that through our business, both our clients
and the community win.”
In addition, Finestone donates her time
to organizations that she feels passionate
about. She mentors a 10-year-old girl through
the “I Have A Dream”
®
Foundation, which
helps children in under-served areas reach
their college and career goals, and volunteers
regularly for the Sam Simon Foundation, a
non-profit organization that rescues and
trains hearing dogs for the deaf and provides
free spay and neutering to low-income city
residents via a mobile pet clinic.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in
Beverly Hills? Why is it your favorite?
A: [Finestone] Since I’m the only native,
I’ll speak to that. Although I grew up in
Westlake Village, my family has been
driving into town to go to Prego
Ristorante on North Camden Drive since I
was in elementary school. It was always a
special-occasion place for me as a kid,
and now I get to go there for lunch often,
since our office is just down the block.
Q: Why do you choose to conduct
your business in Beverly Hills?
A: For the convenience it affords our
clients and because of its strong sense
of community and history. Out of any
community in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills
remains the most similar to a small town.
Families stay here for generations.
People focus on community involvement
and philanthropy while appreciating and
enjoying an unparalleled quality of life.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in
Beverly Hills?
A: Community involvement. Because we
give 5% of our commission to the charity of
our client’s choice being active in the
Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce helps
us to be knowledgeable about local
philanthropic needs. This also gives us the
ability to make an impact and provide all
the resources we need to best serve our
clients with special needs, such as assisting
people in probate with estate liquidation.
