• Teams are judged on three criteria: speed, creativity and
showmanship. So racers need to wow us with their stage
routine, impress us with their trolley design and, of course,
dazzle us with their showmanship.
• All performance costumes must not pose the risk of getting
caught in the trolley or hamper the driver’s ability to see.
• Every driver is permitted a co-driver, who helps with directions
and serves snacks if the driver feels peckish. Although the
co-driver is not mandatory, they must be over 15 years old.
• The pit crew is allowed to push the trolley, but only as far
as the start line. As soon as it crosses the start line,
no-one is allowed to push the trolley any further.
• Red Bull requires all applications for the 2015 event to be

Red Bull Trolley Grand Prix may well be a feast for the
imagination, but there are still some specific design criteria
you must follow to give everyone an equal chance off the
grid. And to ensure the safety of the drivers, teams
and spectators.
• Your human-powered racing machine must not exceed
a maximum of 1.5m wide, 2m high & 3m long.
• It must not exceed 80 kgs in weight (excluding the driver,
of course).
• Trolleys must be powered by the force of gravity only.
