Public Works Engineer Bill McClure
worked with ANP to analyze the return
on investment of LED versus metal
halide. The City of Bakersfield had a
substantial savings in electrical conductor costs and achieved a cost-recovery period of just over 19 months.
The project qualified for a Pacific Gas
and Electric rebate and received approval from The DesignLights Consortium®, (which promotes high quality
LED fixtures). Energy efficiency was
achieved with ANP HighPro LED™

Job History:
The City of Los Angeles looked to ANP to fabricate a custom period lantern
and large scale bracketed arm for the 1st Street Bridge modernizing project.
Sketches were provided and our engineering team and in-house foundry
created this distinctive, proprietary Lantern and Post Mount Arm to match the
historic architecture of the bridge. The heavy duty cast aluminum constructed
luminaire works seamlessly with the massive bracketed arm as well as a
pendant mount. This custom luminaire has Type 5 optics, white acrylic lens
and tool-less entry. The committed partnership between the City of Los
Angeles and our qualified manufacturing and engineering departments
made this fixture and mount both an aesthetic and performance fit for this
monumental project.

The City of Memphis and Liberty Bowl
Design Group came to ANP Lighting with
a sketch. They needed 300 bollards that
were energy efficient, held a concealed
GFI, and designed to integrate with other
products already specified on the project.
We designed and delivered 300 LED energy
efficient bollards, on time, and in budget,
with the durability and aesthetic worthy of
the tailgating season.
