Hygolet Toilet Seat Ring
S3000
Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of a Hygolet Toilet Seat Ring S3000.
Users will appreciate that you have helped to make their restroom
experience significantly more enjoyable.
Please read this instruction manual carefully to fully understand the
operation of our seat.
To ensure trouble-free operation and to enable us to fulfil our warranty
commitment, we strictly recommend that you use original hygolet® and
hygoplast® spare parts and consumables.

Toilet Seat Ring S3000: Seat installation
Installation procedure for a Hygolet seat ring is similar to that for an
ordinary toilet seat ring
Remove old seat ring and
clean toilet bowl rim.
Insert plastic screw head
through slits in fixing-plate of
the installation bracket and
turn screw by 90°.
Insert plastic screw into the
toilet-bowl holes. Hand tighten
the plastic nuts.
The seat ring should be in line
with the bowl. Align the seat ring
by moving the installation-bracket
into the appropriate position. Then
tighten the plastic nuts.

Open lock.
Open housing cover.
Power pack insertion:
Remove protective cover
from contacts.
Insert power pack until it
fits tightly in housing.

Toilet Seat Ring S3000: Initial start-up
Press Reset.
LED-display: 10 bars
corresponds to 125 usages.
If there is only 1 bar left on the
display, less than 10 usages
will be left and Hygoplast roll
has to be changed soon.
Close housing cover.
By activating the non-touch sensor
on the housing cover, the transport
of Hygoplast will be started.

Open lock
Open housing cover
Remove and dispose of used
Hygoplast roll. Place the empty
spool on right side. In case clean
Hygoplast roll is not finished,
repeat activating the non-touch
sensor until the roll is empty.
Slip new Hygoplast roll over left
end of seat ring. Pull roll sticker
over the seat ring.

Fit roll sticker completely
into slit in empty roll core.
Press Reset.
Close housing cover.
Your Hygolet seat ring is
ready for operation.
On the LED-display 10 bars will
be visible, indicating 125 usages.

Changing Hygolet Power Pack
LED-display is flashing: Power
pack has to be changed.
Open lock.
Open housing cover.
Remove and dispose of
used power pack.

Insert new power pack
until it fits tightly in
housing.
Close housing cover.

Open lock.
Open housing cover.
Push back and release clip
holding seat ring down.
Hygoplast can remain on seat
ring.
Move seat ring in up-right
position.

Toilet Seat Ring S3000: Changing blade
Take hold of blade, situated at right, inner end of seat ring. Lift blade
slightly, pull it forward and out of ring
Warning: Blade is very sharp
When the blade is removed from the
seat ring, the number 1 should be
visible (without turning the blade
over) on the lower right corner. If you
see the number 1, you may turn the
blade over so that number 2 is visible
on the lower right corner, and reinsert the blade – keeping the
number 2 visible on the lower right
corner. If the number 2 is on the
lower right corner when you remove
the blade, you will need to insert a
fresh blade from the box.
Take a fresh blade out of the box and
insert it into the seat ring, always with
the number 1 visible on the lower
right corner.

Close housing cover.
Lower down and latch the seat
ring in place.

Toilet Seat Ring S3000: Cleaning
(Suggestion: Clean seat ring when the Hygoplast roll is changed)
1. Remove lid, open housing cover and take out power pack.
2. Remove both spools and pressure roller.
3. Release seat ring on the right side and lift it up.
4. Clean left and right compartments for Hygoplast rolls as well as pressure
roller.
5. Remove blade and clean blade compartment.
Warning: The blade is very sharp.
6. Lower down seat ring and insert power pack.
7. Reinsert pressure roller into its position.
8. Place new Hygoplast roll on left side or if it is not empty, put on spare
roll sticker at end of Hygoplast, pull it over seat ring and insert roll sticker
into slit on empty spool.
9. If the Hygoplast roll is new, press Reset.
10. Close housing cover.
Important:
a)
If the seat ring is still wet, the Hygoplast roll may not pull properly over the
ring.
b) recommended cleaning products:
ABS-cleaning products, Lysol-based products or window cleaning products
without ammonia.
c) Do not use under any circumstances the following:
- Abrasive cleaning products
- Chlorinated bleaching agent, bleaching agent with peroxide
- Decalcifying products for toilet bowls
- Solvents (Acetone, Toluene, etc.)
- Ethereal oils

PROBLEM

No signal in
LED display.
No current.
Insert power pack.
Check contacts for battery.
Check contacts for motor.
LED display
flashing.
Empty or low voltage
power pack.
Change power pack.
Only 1 bar visible
in display.
Nearly empty Hygoplast
roll.
Change Hygoplast roll and
press "Reset".
No pressure roller.
Insert pressure roller.
Pressure roller blocked.
Clean roller or replace
roller.
Hygoplast is twisted.
Using the palm of your
hand, straighten plastic to
untwist.
Housing cover not
completely closed.
Close housing cover.
Incorrect installation of
roll.
Reinstall roll.
Seat ring is not
correctly installed.
Latch seat ring into clip and
check position.
Dull blade.
Turn old blade over to the
number 2 side or replace
with new blade.
No transport of
Hygoplast or
Hygoplast does
not complete one
revolution.
