three of the most respected Jazz
and Show Choir directors,
composers, and choreographers in
the United States today.

Located in Weed, California, COS is easily accessible
from Interstate 5, approximately one hour north of
Redding and one hour south of Ashland, Oregon.

HOUSING/MEAL PLAN
Come stay in our newly-renovated dorms,
conveniently located on our beautiful campus.
Opt for Resident Camper and receive full room and
board with meals in the COS Dining Hall. Nonresident campers are encouraged to select the
meal plan as well. Full-time supervisors and
instructors are with the students at all times. All
registrations receive the Thursday evening and
Saturday lunch barbecues.
The camp experience will culminate with a
performance at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 2.
Admission to this performance is $2 per person.
ENROLLMENT
Please be careful to complete all areas on the
registration form. Incomplete applications will be
returned. Please note: we must have the signature
of a parent or guardian and school principal on the
registration form. Applications must be
postmarked two weeks prior to the first day of
camp. We cannot guarantee housing for
campers who register after June 1st. Register
early to ensure your acceptance and receive music
early enough to learn before arriving. Note: If the
camp is full, you may choose to be placed on the
camp waiting list.
COST
CLINIC INSTRUCTORS
The total cost of the camp varies by the level of
camp package you select. You can tailor your camp
experience to your own needs!
Roger Emerson—Award
Winning Composer and
Choral Music Educator:
With over 500 titles in print,
and 20 million copies in
circulation, Roger Emerson is
one of the most widely
performed choral composers in
America today. Emerson
received his degree in music education from
Southern Oregon University, and served as
music specialist for 12 years in the Mount Shasta
Public School system. Constantly in demand as
a lecturer on choral methods, Emerson now
divides his time between composing, arranging,
lecturing, and teaching at COS. He currently
resides in Mount Shasta, California.

Attend as a “resident” camper and you’ll live in
the dorm and eat meals in the Dining Hall.
Select “day camper with meals” package, and
head home after the evening activities, but take
your meals in the Dining Hall.
Select “clinic only,” and bring your food from
home for both lunch and dinner and head home
after evening activities.
Camp T-shirts are the required uniform for the
camp finale; please specify size on the registration
form. You may also purchase memorabilia of the
clinic: the Talent Show/Finale Performance video
and a group photo will all be available. Hint: To get
the most out of your camp experience, pre-order on
your registration form! Family and friends may wish
to join you for the Saturday lunch BBQ. You need
to reserve their spaces by ordering their tickets
when you register (space provided on registration
form).
REFUND POLICY
Refunds may only be issued in the following
instances :
• A camper on the waiting list cannot be
registered due to space limitation (the refund
will be issued after the start of camp)
• A camper notifies COS that he/she will not be
attending camp prior to the start of camp.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
Camp will be filled on a first-come, first-served
basis. Make checks payable to: College of the
Siskiyous (COS), and mail to: College of the
Siskiyous, Attn: Admissions & Records, 800
College Avenue, Weed, CA 96094. The College
also accepts VISA and MasterCard. Please write
credit card number and expiration date on the
registration form.

Greg Jasperse—Greg
Jasperse is a Los Angeles
based pianist, vocalist,
composer and arranger. He has
conducted several all-state
honors vocal jazz choirs across
North America. Greg’s published works have
been performed internationally. He participates in
numerous jazz and show choir camps in the US
and Canada and serves as a clinician and guest
artist at various international festivals. Greg
recently released his first commercial recording
“Tournesol.”
Jarad Voss-A resident of
Branson, MO, Jarad is a freelance
choreographer and performer
specializing in hip-hop and urban
jazz styles. A former dance
captain and performer in the
Wisconsin Singers and Six Flags
Great America, Chicago, Jarad
has also danced for different festivals, musicals,
and industrials including Miller Genuine Draft and
Rayovac. A clinician and choreographer at Show
Choir Camps of America, Show Choir Camp
Europe, and UW-Shell Lake Show Choir Camp,
Jarad clinics and choreographs many show
choirs and dance troupes throughout the nation.
