Once a year, the strongest field in golf compete in the Season’s Final Major conducted by The PGA
of America. Of the four Major’s, the PGA Championship is the only field composed entirely of
professionals golfers. Since it’s inception, the PGA Championship has served as a stage for the

THE WANAMAKER TROPHY
At the culmination of the 95th PGA Championship, the winner will hoist one of the most recognized
trophy’s in all of sports … The Wanamaker Trophy.
HISTORY OF THE TROPHY
New York City department store magnate Rodman Wanamaker, who was instrumental in
coordinating a 1916 luncheon that evolved into the founding of The PGA of America, offered to
provide the new Association with cash prizes and a trophy for the inaugural PGA Championship.
Wanamaker’s generosity resulted in $2,500 for the first PGA Championship, conducted as match
play at Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, N.Y., Oct. 9-14, 1916. In addition, a silver cup and gold
medal were presented to the winner, as well as a silver medal for the runner-up, and bronze medals
for the winners of the qualifying rounds.
Throughout the history of the PGA Championship, the Wanamaker Trophy has been held
by some of the greatest players to ever played the game to include:

In an effort to reward early commitments, the 95th PGA Championship
is offering two incentives. Companies who purchase packages by
December 31, 2010 will receive a 5% reduction in the total price*. In addition, a
reduced deposit amount is due with the Letter of Intent (10% vs. 25%).
Please reserve the hospitality package checked below. We understand that the
package includes tickets for all seven days of the PGA Championship with food
and beverage included with each Championship round ticket, August 8-11, 2013.
Enclosed is a non‑refundable deposit made payable to PGA Tournament
Corporation, Inc. We understand that our hospitality location will be based
on the order in which PGA receives the deposit and Letter of Intent. We
acknowledge that a contract with a payment schedule will be forwarded to us
to complete the sale.
