ACCREDITATION / MEMBERSHIP AAHS ASPN Working together to advance global hand care and education, The AAHS represents a diverse but cohesive mixture of over 1,300 highly respected professionals working in all disciplines of hand surgery and hand therapy. Members include orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, general surgeons, micro surgeons, hand therapists, nurses and basic scientists from the United States, Canada and many other countries. AAHS is an inclusive organization that welcomes members from many disciplines who are interested in upper extremity care. The American Society for Peripheral Nerve is an organization devoted to the promotion and development of peripheral nerve surgery. The purpose of ASPN is to stimulate and encourage study and research in the field of neural regeneration, to provide a forum for the presentation of the latest research and relevant clinical information and to serve as a unifying authority on all areas of neural regeneration and restorative neuroscience.
