the League
Operators…
Dear Players,
I need you all to understand that violence is never and
will not ever be tolerated in OMA APA; including but not
limited to assault on the league operators. Any person(s)
assaulting the league operator will be banned from any
and all OMA functions and could face criminal charges.
Secondly, we raised about $200 for Randall's family. $100
came from the Spot and $100 from various players. We
were holding on to this money for his widow to present
with his trophies. The trophies are not quite ready yet; so
there’s still time if you wish to donate as well. 3B’s is also
taking up donations as well.

All that being said; we also have been accused of player
fund fraud and it's been said that we are being
investigated. Every month we submit the financial
records for review by the National Office. This is a
requirement of all new LOs. We are not being
investigated.
If you hear or are told of something regarding us use
common sense and talk to us. Using violence and anger
will get you nowhere. In the event that you do hear
something think to yourself and ask if you truly believe
that we are that kind of people.

The Top Gun & Top Gal in each Division from each Session will face off in a tournament to see who the ultimate Top
Gun/Gal is! This tournament will be held in June after the LTCs and Trophies will be awarded and the winner will
advance to the singles regionals!

Remembering Randall Lewallen…
March 7, 1983 – May 11, 2014
Randall was taken too soon in a motor vehicle accident. He was a great player on and
off the table. Randall was the embodiment of integrity. He always had a smile on his
face, a laugh in his eyes and a hug to give. You’ll never meet a person who enjoyed
the game and encouraging the younger generation as much as he did.
Randall, you may be gone from this world but you’ll never be gone from our Hearts…
Rest in Peace Randall Lewallen.
In memorial of Randall Lewallen and his support for
the OMA APA Juniors League we’ve renamed the
Junior Divisions in his honor…
Ages 5-12 will be the Randall Juniors League
Ages 13-18 will be the Lewallen Juniors League
Yearly we hold a Juniors Qualifier to send the players
to their Nationals. The name of this qualifying
tournament will now be: The Randall Lewallen Juniors
Tournament and all awards given will bear that name.

The Patch Program & Vegas Raffle Information
Each player is entitled to a patch upon earning it.
Utilize the PATCH REQUEST FORM located in your
team packet. This form needs to be returned in the
money pouch with the patch earned clearly marked.
Instead of patches, players have the option to enter
their names into the TRIP TO VEGAS drawing valued
at $1,000. Use the PATCH REQUEST FORM to note
that you’d rather enter the drawing than receiving
the patch(es) earned. OMA APA will live draw once
the pot reaches 1,500 entries. The winner will be
announced on Facebook, the Newsletter, in person
and on the scoresheets. The winner will receive a
$1,000 visa or mastercard to use to attend Nationals
in Spring or Fall to play Mini Manias. Winner will sign
a release stating they understand they must attend
and use this money at Nationals or they must pay it
back to the Players’ Fund.
Players who have an overabundance of patches may
turn in those patches for an entry into the drawing.
Each patch (excluding Mini Slams, Grand Slams, I Beat
the LO and Games Played Club) is 1 entry into the
drawing. Mini Slams are 2. Grand Slams are 4. I BEAT
THE LO are 2. Games Played Club are not accepted.
Requested patches will be awarded the week after
earned and will be in the team packet. If you don’t
receive your patch the week after it was earned
please write a note on the scoresheet or contact the
League Office.
