The 2009 Football season saw the Bulldogs post a 1-9 record. The Bulldogs were coached by Eric
Sloan in his first year as the Bulldogs head coach. Coach Sloan was assisted by Ken Cooperman, Doug .
Austin, Jake Brookshire, John Mark Hale, Rex Dotson, Jason Vonallmen, Rance Beller, and Brian Thiele. In

the voting for SCA honors, James Hayes earned all conference honors as a 1 team linebacker, Aaron
Sigman earned honorable mention as a defensive lineman, Collin Beesler earned honorable mention as
a linebacker, and Tucker Windsor earned honorable mention as an offensive lineman. For the South
West Missouri Football Coaches Association (SWMFBCA) James Hayes was named 2nd team Linebacker,
Aaron Sigman was named honorable mention defensive lineman, Collin Beesler was named honorable
mention linebacker, Donovan Baker was named honorable mention defensive back, and Tucker Windsor
was named honorable mention offensive lineman.
The 2009 Lady Bulldog Volleyball team posted a record of 14-13-3. The Lady Bulldogs were led
by head Coach Angie Jester for the fourth year, coach Jester was assisted by Tim Bay. Post season

awards for the Lady Bulldogs included All SCA honors for Jamie Reaves 1st team, Julia Reaves 2
team,
and honorable mention to Alex Noll. In all district voting Jamie Reaves was first team, and Julia Reaves
was second team.
The cross country program was led by Ryan Waters in 2009 the bulldogs ran in many events
during the season but no post season awards were earned.
The boy's basketball program was taken over by Ryan Waters in 2009. Coach Waters was
assisted by Aaron Miller. The boys posted a record of 13-11 in the 2009-10 season. Post season honors

went to Nate Stoutenborough for 1 team all SCAselection, and Donovan Baker as a 2
team all SCA
selection.
In Girls basketball for the 2009-10 season Rance Beller started his fourth season as the Lady
Bulldog's head coach, he was assisted by Reagan Fox. The girls posted a record of 10-16. Post season
honors went to Jamie Reaves 1st team all SCA,and to Julia Reaves SCAhonorable mention. Jamie Reaves
was also selected to the all-district team for the 2009-10 season.
The 2010 Golf season marked the first year for Doug Austin to serve as the head golf coach. The
team entered into many tournaments, but no post season awards were earned.
The 2010 Track season's were led by head coaches Eric Sloan and Jamminy McCrosky, the teams

competed at many meets. Individual honors went to Jeremiah Stark in the pole vault 2

Tim Bay. The Lady Bulldogs posted a record of 20-9-3, were SCAconference tri-charnps, and ended up
2nd place in districts. Post season awards in the SCAwent to, Jamie Reaves 1st team, Julia Reaves and
Alex Noll 2nd team, and Tori Richardson honorable mention. All district honors went to Jamie and Julia

The 2010 Cross Country team was led by Coach Aaron Miller. The team competed at many

meets, and did very well. Post season honors went to Tim Cooper 1 team all SCA,and Class 1 district 4

champion. Tim also received 3 team all-state honors. Ethan Stuart was named as SCA honorable
mention, and was a state qualifier.
In the 2010-11 girls basketball season Rance Beller returned for his fifth year as the head coach,
and was assisted by Lindsey Hill. The girls posted a record of 16-10. Post season honors went to Jamie

team all SCA,and Tori Richardson SCA honorable mention.
Jamie and Julia Reaves were also named to the all-district team forthe
2010-11 season.
In the 2010-11 boys basketball season the coaching staff remained the same with Ryan Waters
as the head coach and Aaron Miller as his assistant. The bulldogs posted a record of 12-16. Post season
honors in the SCAconference went to Donovan Baker 2nd team, and Preston Eagleman honorable
mention.
In 2010 Doug Austin continued as the head golf coach. Making it into sectional play were Clay
Cox, Clayton Manning, Gavin Green, Jon Skyles, and Brandon Loman. Brandon Loman also qualified to
compete in the State Tournament.
The 2011 Track teams were led by head coaches Eric Sloan and Jamminy McCrosky, the teams

relay team of Jamie Reaves, Taylor Coen, Tori Shelton, and Shannon King took honorable mention in the
4x400m relay and the 4x800m relay. Advancing to the state track meet were Jamie Reaves in the 400m
run, and Tayor Coen in the 800m run.
The 2011 Cabool Baseball team was once again led by head coach Richie Jester and assisted by
Brian Thiele. The 2011 Baseball team was the best in the history of the baseball program. They finished
the season with a 21-5 record and a final state ranking of 7th. The Bulldogs won the first district
championship in the school's history, and advanced to the quarterfinal round before losing in the state
play-offs. Individual honors in the SCAwent to Austin Holmes 1st team pitcher and the SCAconference
player of the year, Jordan Noirfalise 1stteam infielder, Drew Pearson 1st team catcher, Randy Brill 2nd
team infielder, Todd Wood honorable mention outfielder, and Nolan Stillwell honorable mention
infielder. The Bulldogs had three players receive many special awards Drew Pearson, Missouri High

School Baseball Coaches Association ( MHSBCA) 2 team all-state catcher, and Drew was named to play
nd
in the Under Armour All-Star team for Missouri. Jordan Noirfalise was named MHSBCA all-state 2
nd
team pitcher, and. 2
team Mo. Sportswriter's all-state pitcher, and Mo. State Senior all-star.

Holmes was named MHSBCA i" team all-state pitcher, MHSBCA academic all-state, i" team MO.

Sloan's staff was comprised of Jake Brookshire, Andrew Eckman, Nathan Ogden, John Mark Hale, Rex
Dotson, Ryan Smith, Rance Beller, and Brian Thiele. The Bulldogs posted a record of 3-7. Post season
honors in the SCAconference went to, Aaron Sigman 2nd team linebacker, Nate Christeson 2nd team
defensive lineman, Cody Poe 2nd team defensive back; Clayton Manning 2nd team running back, and
Gavin Green honorable mention tight end. TheSWMFCA has not yet had their meeting at the time this
article was written.
The 2011 Lady Bulldog Volleyball team was lead by Head Coach Angie jester and Tim Bay
entering their sixth year together.
The team finished with a record of 13-14-5, and a second place finish
in district play. Post season awards went toJamie Reaves who was 1st team SCAand Co-MVP of the SCA
conference.
Brittany Whetstine was named to the 2nd team, and Megan Smith was honorable mention.
In alldistrict
awards Jamie Reaves was first team, and Brittany Whetstine was 2nd team.
