Bucharest is located in the middle of Romanian
Field, in an area with plain contour, crossed by
Dambovita River and by a chain of lakes in the North.
The area is populated both by urban and rural
settlements.
Atheneum Center is located 1 km north to the
city centre (St. Gheorghe Square – Km “0”). It is
situated on the western side of Calea Victoriei
(coming from the city centre), very close to Hilton
Hotel (200 m distance), Romanian Athenaeum, Royal
Palace and Central University Library. It is a prime
location within the city.
Atheneum Center can be accessed from the
arterial node of Romana Square through Magheru Bd.,
Calea Victoriei, Stirbei Voda Str. and George Enescu
Str. The Georges Clemenceau Str. is situated at the half
distance between Calea Victoriei and Bd. Magheru.
The Atheneum Center with its fine neoclassic architecture, placed within a
walking distance of merely 2 minutes from the Athenee Palace Hilton and
Romanian Athenaeum, will graciously complete the already stylish line of the
buildings in this area.
The city center of Bucharest preserves architecture from the late 19th and early
20th century, particularly from the interwar period, which is often seen as the
“golden age” of the city. Much of the architecture of the time belongs to a
remarkably strong modern architecture, current led by Horia Creanga and Marcel
Iancu, who managed to literally change the face of the city and add modernism
to the previous classic look.

Recreating the ambiance of the early 20th century “Little Paris”, The Atheneum

capital.
