All of our accessory mounting systems
are machined from T6 6061 aluminum to
precise tolerances then plated with a durable
anodize or chrome finish. All hardware used
is stainless steel.

Stem Mount systems fit snugly
into the hole in your sport bikes
steering head, utilizing a series
of O- rings that get progressively
tighter as the mount is pushed
into the hollow stem hole.
Once installed this system
provides a secure centrally
located mounting location. The
top plate angle and shaft height
are adjustable to suit a variety of
accessories. There are no tools
needed for installation. Fits most
popular Japanese
and European
sport bikes.

Mirror Mount systems take
advantage of the unused threaded
mirror hole found on many Japanese
and European motorcycles. The
Mirror Mounts have all of the
adjustability and range of movement
of the handlebar mount systems.
Simply thread the mounts into the
holes on the handlebars originally
designed for mirrors. A good
alternative for motorcycles with
non-circular or limited bar space.

ControlMounts

Control Mount systems fit widest
range of metric motorcycles.
These systems were designed
to mount onto the handlebar
control pinch bolts (clutch or
brake side). This mounting
location can be used on
motorcycles with closed or open
steering stems, no available
handlebar space and no available
mirror mount locations.
As long as the motorcycle has
two pinch bolts on the handlebar
controls this system can be used.
Range of movement and
adjustability are the same as
all ball and socket systems.

FairingMounts
Part # 20992
Fairing Mounts systems are
recommended for sport
motorcycles when the highest,
most visible mounting location is
desired. Also this system provides
the most weather and wind
protection. Installation is simple.
Just remove one of the factory
10mm nuts on the inside of the
fairing support and thread the hex
shaped base onto the exposed
stud. This style mount remains
stationary when the handlebars
are turned.
** Not recommended for large
GPS or camcorders.

GPS / XM Radio Kit : A
small top plate measuring
just 2.25” x 2.5” with (4) four
rubber bushings designed
to add a level of vibration
damping to aid in the
mounting of sensitive
electronic devices.
The AMPS four hole bolt
pattern used in this plate,
is an industry standard
bolt pattern used by
Garmin GPS and Delphi
XM Radio for their
manufacturer supplied
mounting cradles. This kit
includes (3) three sets of
stainless mounting screws,
in sizes most commonly
used for GPS and XM
radio mounting cradles.

Standard Top Plate: Replacement top plate that come standard on
all Techmounts. A good choice for a variety of small accessories
such as cell phones, pagers, change holders, PDA’s, small handheld
GPS, toll transponders, etc. Standard top plates come with one of
two pre-drilled hole patterns. One for Stem Mounts (pivot systems) that has (8) small countersunk
holes or all other mount systems (ball/socket) that has (3) larger countersunk holes. All standard
top plates have a single 1.25” hole used for mounting a camera thumbscrew .

Wide Top Plate: Replacement top plate that is twice as wide as the
standard top plate and are pre-drilled for use with any of our mount
systems. This is a good choice for mounting two smaller devices
side by side on a single mount system.
Double Top Kit: Two standard size top plates that mount onto a
single shaft, but move independently. This is the right choice for
mounting two devices at different angles. For example: a radar
detector that needs to be level and a GPS that needs to be angled
toward the rider.
Note: Ball /socket systems require Kit # 60998 with replacement shaft

Large GPS Top Plate: A 3.0” x 3.5” top plate with an extensive
pattern of mounting holes that make mounting large GPS
brackets simple. This top plate has pre-drills mounting holes
for most TouraTec brand GPS brackets as well as all of the
R.A.M. plastic cradles.
This is the best choice if you already have one of the these quality
GPS cradles and need to interface with our mounting system.
