What a lovely war. Definitely a “must” for the family and friends. A programme of great works from the Romantic period when tunes really mattered, and when music often reflected the move to national identities in countries such as Finland and Italy. Guest Conductor, Stephen Rumsey, makes a welcome return to conduct Trianon’s Choir and Orchestra. A bright and breezy programme, which spans two worlds -- the “Old World” of British music, and the “New World” with a brand new medley of favourite Rodgers and Hammerstein tunes. At Trianon we’re always pleased to welcome new members to our choir and orchestra. Our “open-door” policy means that we welcome singers of all abilities and instrumentalists who meet our required standard. We’re unique in East Anglia in having both a choir and a symphony orchestra and our members tell us that the experience of performing as part of such a large group is second to none! We perform classical music and popular music from shows; we work in partnership with local organisations and schools. This year Trianon will make a return visit to see our partner music group in Arras – a great opportunity for socializing and music making! Interested? Then talk to us about joining as a performer or as a Friend of Trianon.
