The Hopkins Elementary Learning Community is committed to creating a safe,
respectful and responsive school
environment where each student will
meet or exceed academic standards and
develop strategies for success now and
in the future.
Year End
Activity Reminders
End of the year parties are scheduled by each classroom teacher
along with the assistance of the
PTA room parents.
Parents are reminded that all
snacks must be nut free and cannot be produced in a factory that
may process nut products.
With sunny days comes the access
for more outdoor recess and gym
classes. If the day looks like it will
be very sunny, parents should consider putting sun screen on their
students before they come to
school. School personal cannot
apply sunscreen to students.

each student at Hopkins brings in just 25 Box Tops this year, Hopkins would earn over $1500!

The Staff Appreciation Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents for their generous
contributions to Staff Appreciation Week. We know the teachers and staff loved everything and we think this was the
most successful luncheon we have ever had. A very big thank you to Sabby’s bagels for their donation of bagels to
start the week off, to Linda Suponcic for the Arrabica gift cards and to Erica Torres for the beautiful cake for the
staff. We were told it was delicious! We’d especially like to thank Debbie Ribinskas and Rebecca Spike for their help
at the luncheon. And of course, thank you to our teachers and staff for helping our children to learn and grow.

come back to the farm weekly to help look after the food being grown, then share in the harvest at the end of the season. Camp is Monday Wednesday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., June 20 - 22. The cost for residents is $65 and nonresidents pay $75. Register online at
