Opportunities:
Programmers: Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in geophysics, computer
science or mathematics, with interest or experience in
developing geophysical applications. Research and
development of applications specific to advanced seismic processing techniques including wavelet processing, velocity analysis and model building, noise rejection, time and depth imaging and rock physics and
attributes are some areas of interest.
Analysts: Geotrace’s Land and Marine Divisions are
currently seeking recent graduates with a geophysical
science degree or related discipline. Extensive training
is provided, leading to responsibilities including client
interaction and reporting, workflow and parameter
testing, velocity interpretation and production quality
control. Interested individuals should be deadline
oriented, able to demonstrate initiative and to work
independently or along side a team leader.
Reservoir Geophysicists:
Geotrace’s Reservice Services
Division is seeking entry level
Reservoir Geophysicists with a
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geophysics or Earth
Science Field. Candidates with seismic processing
experience and basic interpretation skills are preferred.
With training and mentoring, successful candidates
will learn and apply leading edge reservoir technologies to enhance prestack migrated data, analyze high
density high resolution velocity field, build macro
model, evaluate petrophysics and AVO signatures, estimate pore pressure, and conduct elastic inversion. Our
reservoir geophysicists employ derived attributes integrated with geophysical, geological and reservoir data
for reservoir characterization, lithology and fluid
prediction and prospect and production evaluation as
well as interact closely with clients.
Depth Imaging Modelers: Geotrace’s Depth Imaging Geotrace offers a competitive salary and benefits
Division is currently seeking entry level Depth Imagers. package and provides an exciting and challenging
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a work environment. EOE.
Bachelor’s Degree in Geophysics or a related field. A
graduate degree is preferred. Entry level Depth Imag-ers will receive on the job training by working withh
experienced personnel on depth projects. Valuablee
experience in model building, utilization of advancedd
depth imaging software, and client interaction will bee
