The HELP™ kit is designed to enable rotary wing aircraft launch an air-droppable inflatable platform for their own
use or in support of the rescue of others in need. Model H6 will provide flotation for up to six survivors and Model
H13 will provide flotation for up to 13 survivors. The HELP™ kit greatly enhances the chances for survival by permitting the survivors to get out of the water until they can be picked up. HELP™ Kits are easily inflated by the pilot
or crewman. The HELP™ can be launched for air drop and inflated by means of an airdrop static lanyard or inflated
in the water by pulling a “Pull to Inflate” Handle.

Performance / Specifications
The MK-46 series life preservers are lightweight, constant wear inflatable lifejackets, designed for use by helicopter pilots
and passengers. The construction of these life preservers are superior in quality and durability, engineered for constant
wear comfort while wearing a helmet and easy integration with seat harness. Both preservers are universally sized with a
fully adjustable waist belt. Both style MK-46 vests consist of two independent flotation cells, providing 38 pound buoyancy,
and are yoke style which will ensure that an unconscious aviator will float head up out of the water and will also self right a
survivor after inflation. Inflation is activated with a manual inflation system, utilizing a 16 gram CO2 cylinder on each bladder. Backup oral inflation is provided on each cell. The flotation cells are encased in a durable 1000 denier Cordura Nylon
shell, available in a variety of colors (Black, Navy Blue, OD Green).

Three-Prong Seat provides
balance, comfort and support.
The MK-III Forest Penetrator/ Rescue Seat is designed to
extract personnel in any terrain. The rescue seat is intended
to hoist one person but is capable of lifting three people in
emergencies.
• THICK FOREST PENETRATIONS
Simple attachment of a weighted shaped slug allows the
seat to penetrate through dense foilage.
• OVER-WATER OPERATIONS
A detachable puncture resistant Flotation Collar
provides flotation in all sea conditions.
• SIMPLICITY
The three collapsible seats are extended or retracted
by easy one handed pressure - no latches or levers
to confuse the survivor.
• RETENTION
Retention straps are provided for each seat & are routed
around survivors chest and secured to the penetrator.
• MAINTENANCE FREE
All parts are manufactured with aircraft grade aluminum
resulting in long life cycle, minimum care & maintenance.

In the stowed position, the rescue seat is just 9 "x 35"

and utilized by many helicopter rescue
crews around the world.
Air/ Land/ Sea Rescue Net
Billy Pugh nets offer a safe means of pick-up and transport
of personnel and/or survivors by helicopter. Designed for
use in the harshest of environments, these nets can be used
on land or in water (flotation collar is optional).
When the net is trailing or in the water, its opening is
stabilized by the use of a removable sea anchor or
drogue. The nets are designed to place the occupant
safely to the rear of the net, preventing inadvertant fallout.
Various models are available, offering different configurations in sizes, flotation, and folding capabilities.

The design and construction of the net allows for compact,
easy storage in most helicopters. BPC nets attach easily to
all model hoists or short haul systems. If the helicopter is not
hoist or cargo hook equipped, the nets can be utilized for
Rescue operations using LSI short haul system (customized
for specific helicopter application)

SUSPENSION

The design and introduction of this device is in response to the growing need for a versatile, compact, helicopter
rescue device. The Stretcher Rescue Net is compatible with reduced door sizes of current helicopter
configurations. When folded for storage, this net takes minimal space.
The Stretcher Rescue Net greatly increases the capability of helicopter rescue units to safely and effectively extract
and transport survivors. Current stretcher configurations that can be utilized for helicopter operations are only
capable of transporting victims in a reclined or horizontal position. At the same time, standard rescue baskets,
harnesses and nets cannot transport injured in the horizontal position.
The Stretcher Rescue Net is capable of transporting victims in the seated position, as a standard rescue basket
or in a horizontal position as a stretcher rescue net. These victims may already be secured to some type of
standard ground type device, such as backboards, pole litters and Stokes type stretchers.

HELICOPTER YOKE BAND
Model: YB-CHB (Cargo Hook Backup)
The YB-CHB Yoke Band is designed primarily as Cargo
Hook Backup (CHB) device, whereby the Load Line (or
Sling Line) is hooked to the Yoke Band’s Load Ring, and
the Load Ring is then hooked into the Cargo Hook. If ever
there is a failure of the Cargo Hook, the load will be
snatched by the Yoke Band.
In the event of emergency, should the Yoke Band need to
be jettisoned from the helicopter, release is accomplished
by pulling on a Beaded Handle attached to the Capewell
release hardware. The Capewell Release is a hand activated
mechanical device for detaching the Yoke Band. Its simple,
easy operation offers quick, safe disengagement from the
helicopter. The Capewell Release has been recognized by
the U.S. Government, other NATO countries and customers
worldwide.
CONSTRUCTION
The YB-CHB Yoke Band is constructed of MIL-W27265, type 13 Webbing, treated for UV resistance. The
Type 13 webbing is doubled, with a loop at either end. This
webbing is the U.S. and NATO standard material for aerial
delivery and external load operations. The Yoke Band is
fitted with a Capewell Release for emergency jettison.The
Capewell Release is drop forged steel, constructed for
superior strength, and cadmium plated for increased
corrosion resistance. Each Capewell undergoes 100%
inspection and each finished release is subjected to a 5,000
pound (2268 kg) pull test.

HELICOPTER YOKE BAND
Model: YB-PSB (Primary Suspension Band)
The YB-PSB Yoke Band is designed to be fitted through
the body of the helicopter for rescue purposes where a
winch or cargo hook are not available. This unique device
is rated at 500 pound Working Load Limit (WLL).
Utilizing a manual Quick Release system allows for quick
jettison should the payload need to be released in an
emergency. Because there is no electronic or ballistic
device invloved, the possibility of separate system failure
is eliminated.
Emergency jettison release of the Cargo is activated from
within the helicopter, via Dual Actuation, requiring two
distinct actions for release to occur. The Release Cable
travels down the Sling to the Cargo Attachment System,
releasing payload. The YB-PSB Yoke band stays
attached to the helicopter.
The YB-PSB Yoke Band body is constructed of MILW-4088, Type 26, doubled over, creating an extrmely
strong band that will not stretch. The 3-Ring Cargo
Release System is constructed of MIL-W-4088, Type
13, also doubled.
The Cargo Attachment System utilizes a 3-Ring Release,
commonly used in Heavy Duty HALO delivery systems.

LSI Rescue Load Lines are manufactured using Amsteel II™, a double braided rope that derives its high strength from
a braided Dyneema SK-60 fiber core. The braided polyester cover creates a firm rope and serves as abrasion protection
to the strength core. This rope has extremely low elongation and is a lightweight replacement for wire rope. For added
visibility, wear life and color identification, our Amsteel II load lines come with a Samthane coating in orange.

HELICOPTER RESCUE LOAD LINE, SPECIFICATIONS
The standard configuration consists of spliced canvas Eye Sleeves at both ends. Hardware includes a Swivel Shackle
with Clevis Pin installed on the top and a Double Locking Snap Hook installed at the bottom. This configuration allows
for a variety of hookup options, and enables the lines to be linked together if necessary. Obviously we can modify

The Personnel Retaining Safety Harness is designed to be
used by crewmembers operating outside of the aircraft. Made
of nylon webbing and provided with pull tabs and adapters
for adjustment. The front has a latch and link assembly with
a leather protector and is equipped with a quick release
assembly. Includes 11 ft. adjustable Tether that clips onto rear
of the harness, with Quick Release Snap.
The Hoist Operator Safety Vest is designed as a safety restraint
to be worn by crewmembers operating outside of the aircraft.
The vest utiilizes all mil-spec webbing and hardware, and
features quick donning mesh vest with snaplike closures.
Includes 7 ft. adjustable Tether that clips onto rear of the
harness. All straps are adjustable for custom fit.
Crewmember's Safety/Gunner's Belt

The Gunner's belt is designed as a safety restraint systems to be
used by crewmembers aboard military aircraft. Made of nylon
webbing and provided with pull tabs and adapters for adjustment.

Aviation Crewman Safety Belt

Intended for use by helicopter crew members working near open
hatches or doors. Combines a high degree of security with quick
releases. This design features a 5" wide inner belt with two outer
MIL-SPEC nylon waist belts. The waist belt buckles are the
double locking Quick Release Safety Buckle. The two buckle
system provides the extra level of safety needed in the aviation
enviroment. A quick adjusting, single attachment strap located
in the center back of the belt has a stainless steel auto lock snap

All accessories are packaged in an innovative equipment pack
designed to provide organized storage and convenient transport of
survival equipment. The main compartment (11"w x 16" H x 6" D) is
fully padded with closed cell foam and has webbing loops to attach
equipment. The pack has a webbing carry handle and padded
contour shoulder straps. A false back stores the shoulder straps
when not in use. A front outside compartment is 10" x 15" x 3".
