ValCOOL® VP690 Micro-Soluble for high pressure coolant applications DESCRIPTION ––VP690 is a micro-soluble metalworking fluid designed for high pressure coolant applications. The product is found in systems with pistons and positive displacement pumps that increase coolant pressure up to 2000 psi. ––VP690 is a chlorine free product that was designed for aerospace, medical, nuclear, and all other industries that are sensitive to chlorine stress cracking. ––The product provides “soluble-oil” performance with sump stability that approaches that of a synthetic product. The product is non-irritating to workers’ skin and will not cause dermatitis issues. ––VP690 provides excellent rust protection due to a proprietary manufactured tri-phase corrosion inhibitor package. FEATURES & BENEFITS ––Chlorine-free chemistry ––Designed for high pressure machines ––Low foam chemistry ––Significant increases in tool life ––Best in class resistance to bacteria growth ––Exceptional tramp oil rejection ––Non-irritating to operators’ skin PRODUCT OFFERING Part Number Description/Container EDP# VP690-005U Micro-soluble for high pressure applications / 5 gallon pail 6771951 VP690-055U Micro-soluble for high pressure applications / 55 gallon drum 6771952 VP690-220U Micro-soluble for high pressure applications / 220 gallon tote 6771955 VP690-275U Micro-soluble for high pressure applications / 275 gallon tote 6771978 COMPETITIVE COMPARISON Product Name Category ValCOOL® Offset (closest) Master Chemical E206 Soluble Oil VP690 Improved biostability, tramp oil separation, cleaner product Master Chemical Trimsol Soluble Oil VP690 Improved biostability, tramp oil separation, cleaner product Master Chemical Microsol 585XT High Oil Micro-Soluble VP690 Increased tool life, better foam inhibition Master Chemical Microsol 685 High Oil Micro-Soluble VP690 Increased tool life, significantly better with skin irritation Cimcool Cimperial 1070 Soluble Oil VP690 Cleaner product, better biostability, better odors Rustlick WS-500A Soluble Oil VP690 Improved biostability, tramp oil separation, cleaner product Rustlick WS-5050 Soluble Oil VP690 Improved biostability, tramp oil separation, cleaner product Monroe Fluids Astro-Cut A Soluble Oil VP690 Improved biostability, tramp oil separation, cleaner product Monroe Fluids PrimeCut Soluble Oil VP690 Improved biostability, tramp oil separation, cleaner product Houghton Hocut 795 (series) High Oil Micro-Soluble VP690 Improved foam inhibition, safer chemistry (no DCHA), reduced coolant usage (less dragout) Blaser Entire Blaser Series Soluble Oil VP690 Improved biostability, significantly better smell, reduced coolant usage, better price point Wallover WS 8800 High Oil Micro-Soluble VP690 Enhanced RP, improved biostability, better odors Wallover WS 6900 Soluble Oil VP690 Improved biostability, significantly better smell APEX 9900 Soluble Oil VP690 Improved biostability (especially fungal), reduced chemical buildup, reduced rust, enhanced RP S-500 Soluble Oil VP690 Improved biostability, tramp oil separation, cleaner product, advanced EP package HySol MB50 Micro-Soluble VP690 Improved biostability, tramp oil separation, cleaner product XtremeCut 251C High Oil Micro-Soluble VP690 Better sump life, Improved biostability Supplier Ashburn Industries Hangsterfers Castrol Qualichem ValCOOL® Advantages Technical Information: Refractive Index 1.1 Recommended Concentration: 6-10% For technical assistance, call 1-800-945-5554 to contact your local Walter Coolant Business Specialist Walter USA, LLC N22W23855 RidgeView Pkwy W Waukesha, WI 53188, USA 800-945-5554 [email protected] www.walter-tools.com/us Walter Canada N22W23855 RidgeView Pkwy W Waukesha, WI 53188, USA 800-945-5554 [email protected] Printed in the USA 800588-292, EDP-# 6850514 (3/2015)
