Our low ash products work hard to maintain the engine so that DPF condition is also protected.
Environmental benefits are achieved by combination of advanced engine and after treatment
devices, low sulphur fuel and advanced engine oil.
The low “ash” content of Mobil Delvac 1 LE 5W-30 and Mobil Delvac XHP LE 10W-40 helps
to minimise build-up of inorganic residues on the DPF. Blocked DPFs would be inefficient at
removing particulates, and may lead to increased back-pressure with impact on fuel economy.

Selecting the right Mobil Delvac Synthetic engine oil from our range for your
equipment will help to protect your engine from the harmful effects of soot and
other contaminants.
Our synthetic lubricants are more stable at high temperatures. That means they
have better resistance to thermal degradation, that can lead to performance
sapping sludge, deposit build-up and viscosity breakdown.

Stricter Emissions Standards*
Mobil Delvac synthetic engine oils are designed to lubricate and protect modern
low emission engine designs. These designs often include low oil consumption
rates, use of Exhaust Gas Recirculation, Selective Catalytic Reduction and
sometimes Diesel Particulate Filters.
For Commercial Vehicles fitted with Diesel Particulate Filters we have developed
a range of outstanding low ash synthetic oils.

demonstrating class leading results under extreme test conditions and the harshest of environments.
Excellent Low Temperature Flow Performance
Pour Point (Deg. C)
Lower is better
Pour point is a measure of a lubricant’s ability to flow at low
temperatures. Mobil Delvac synthetic lubricants are engineered
to reduce internal friction which results in outstanding flow
characteristics at low temperatures. As a result, components are
lubricated more effectively, especially during a cold start-up
(where a significant amount of component wear can take place).

Higher viscosity index translates to a more stable viscosity across
a broad temperature range. As well as the excellent low temperature
