How to
1
Cut a rounded body shape from green foam to create your leprechaun’s
body.
2
Cut out three foam rectangles to create your leprechaun’s hat. (A tall
skinny green one for the top of his hat, a short long one for his hat brim
and a black hat band to fit).
3
Glue all of the pieces together to create a hat. Allow to dry.
4
Cut a circle out of pink adhesive foam to create a head and attach it to
your leprechaun’s body.
5
Glue your leprechaun’s hat to his head. Allow to dry.
6
Pull apart a cotton ball to create a beard for your leprechaun. Attach
with glue.
7
Give your leprechaun a cute face by attaching wiggle eyes. You could
also attach a sequin to his hat as a buckle.
8
Cut a silver chenille stem in half and twist a loop at the end of each half
to create a leg and foot. Attach both legs to the back of your leprechaun
with tape.
9
Cut another silver chenille stem in half and twist a loop at the end of
each half to create an arm and hand. Attach both arms to the back of
your leprechaun with tape.

CLEVER TIP
Finally, add further decoration, like clovers, to your leprechaun’s body
with a green marker.
Cut a paper plate in half and use some easy painters in all the colours of the
rainbow. Now your leprechuan can start searching for his pot of gold!
