What are you doing this
summer to stand out, to get ahead, to make
yourself different, better?
Do you have what it takes, to join us for one
week of intense leadership training?
It starts with checking-in at the National
Museum of the Marine Corps July 19th 2015
and finishes six days later. During those
seven days, you will experience the
following:
- Ethics, education, and leadership training
- Team building, team development, and
leadership practical application exercises at
Marine Corps Base Quantico
- Teamwork, leadership, and a community service
project
- A visit to Washington DC
- Distinguished guest speakers
The United States Marine Corps Summer Leadership
and Character Development Academy (SLCDA) is a
one-week course aboard Marine Corps Base
Quantico, VA for America’s top high school students.
The competitive applicant must:
- Have completed their sophomore year of high
school
- Have participated in athletic, leadership, and
service-oriented activities
- Possess strong moral and ethical standards
