WE ARE OREGON.
Regular people in Portland need a strong
voice in this economy.
For CEOs, the recession feel like it’s over. Their
bonuses and corporate profits are coming back.
For most Oregonians, this economy still hurts.
Taxpayers like us are giving tax breaks to big corporations who say they need help to create jobs.
But many companies that are getting breaking
aren’t creating quality jobs that will get Oregon
on track.
We are Oregon is about people like us speaking out together for good jobs, education, and
healthcare. We are a group of individuals and
organizations united to bring jobs to Oregon.
TAKE AC TION TO GET
AMERICANS BACK TO
WORK!
WE NEED TO PUT EMPHASIS BACK INTO CREATING GOOD
JOBS IN OUR COMMUNITIES!
The American Jobs Act will save and create job in Oregon
and Washington and put more money into working people’s
pockets. Some ways this will be done include:
•
Put more money in the pockets of working and middleclass Americans.
•
Cut taxes for small businesses to help them hire and
grow.
•
Put more people back to work: teachers laid off due
to state budget cuts; veterans returning from Iraq and
Afghanistan; first responders; and construction workers
rebuilding our roads,
bridges and schools.
