THE LAMB INN
THE BELL INN
Perched above the Pevensey Levels next
to the village church and standing between
Herstmonceux Castle and Pevensey Castle, this
16th century former coaching inn extends a
warm welcome to both locals and travellers.
Renowned as a ‘real social centre of village life’,
The Bell Inn has a wonderfully welcoming
atmosphere where old and new faces can be found
in the oak-panelled bar enjoying the wide selection
of well-kept real ales and fantastic wines.
BBC antiques expert, James Braxton bought the
Lamb Inn with his family in 2012. Sons Charlie and
Ned run the Inn, and create a friendly ambience
with log fires and vinyl records. Head chef, Nelson,
and his young team are passionate about using
local seasonal ingredients.
There are twenty-seven fabulous rooms and suites
across three beautiful buildings, complemented
by the award-winning a la carte restaurant in the
inn, or the relaxed vibe of The Ostlers Bar &
Restaurant, with its views over the grounds.

Y Talbot is a historic and characterful Grade II listed

The Castle Hotel in Bishop’s Castle is a characterful
18th century inn located in a quiet square. There

Thirteen tastefully renovated bedrooms offer style

Standing at the gateway to Holkham park, ‘The Vic’ is
close to Holkham beach on the north Norfolk coast.
There are twenty bedrooms all individually designed
with an emphasis on style, comfort and quality.
The Hundred House is a charming, family-run
hotel with nine extravagant en-suite rooms
featuring a mix of antique furnishings, fabulous
four-poster beds, chandeliers and even swings!
Mellow brick, stained glass and Jacobean wood
panelling abound in the cosy bar and restaurant.
Ten bedrooms are located in the Victoria itself
and ten further rooms can be found in Ancient
House, directly opposite. Dogs are welcome in
some rooms or kennels are available. The menu
is simple and elegant, using produce from the
Holkham Estate, including beef, lamb and venison.
Owner and head chef, Stuart Phillips creates
imaginative menus for the 2 AA Rosette

THE WEST ARMS
The Peacock at Rowsley is a 3 AA Red Star hotel,
part of the historic Haddon Estate and ideally
placed at the centre of the Peak District. Guests can
choose from fifteen comfortable yet stylish en-suite
bedrooms including a superbly appointed suite with
its beamed bedroom and separate sitting room.
Firmly embedded in local history, The West Arms
is nestled in the sleepy Welsh village of Llanarmon
Dyffryn Ceiriog, near Llangollen. This 16th century
Drovers’ inn guarantees guests a warm welcome
with its beautiful Inglenook fireplace, fantastic food
and sixteen comfortable and characterful bedrooms.
The 3 AA Rosette restaurant offers fine dining
using excellent, seasonal ingredients, complemented
by a wide range of wines, hand pulled local ales

You can choose to enjoy Chef Grant Williams’
