K 2: Is Don Pendleton your real name?
K 2: What’s a normal day like for Don Pendleton?
DP: "It changes so much and depends on what projects I'm
juggling. I'm almost nocturnal; I get most of my work done at
night so I sleep in late usually, get up and try to stay focused.
Working from home presents challenges but you've got to keep a
decent schedule."
K 2: For those who might not recognize your style, where

DP: "I've been really fortunate and I've tried to work for
companies that I respect and ones that offer me some artistic
freedom. I got my start at Alien Workshop and was there for a
long time. I was with Element doing skateboard graphics over
there for about 4 years. In between, I've done work for Nike,
Gravis, LG and I've done a lot of exhibits all over the world."
K 2: Now that you’ve done graphics for both skate decks and
snowboards are there any similarities?
DP: "I love the production and printing techniques that are
possible with snowboards. They've both really similar in terms
the shape and try to use it to make the image as interesting as
possible. This series was more challenging than a skateboard series
because of the amount of printing possibilities and you have the
extra space on top that allows for even more imagery. But it was
a lot of fun to do."

The standard for ultra-lightweight performance helmets,
it is characterized by an EPS Liner that is bonded to a
lightweight PC Shell by means of a distinct molding process.
As with the Hard Shell construction, the lightweight EPS
Liner forms the inner layer of the helmet and is constructed
from Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) beads expanded to
the shape of the helmet. The EPS is then wrapped by the
Polycarbonate PC Shell in the In-Mold to form a clean
protective envelope that is vacuum formed paper thin to
minimize weight.

The EPS liner is perforated with chimney and channel
venting. The channels interconnect with the chimney vents to
move air from your head to exhaust vents out the back. The
