The Friends of the Weeks Library Halloween Party! Wednesday, Oct. 5, 7:00pm Meet the Artist Ellen Greely of elscards.com will demonstrate calligraphy and her own watercolor designs used to create personalized greeting Thursday, October 27, 6pm cards, invitations and gift items. Come meet a local artist and eJoin us for a spooky craft, some business woman. goulish goodies, and one fright of a flick: Tuesday, Oct. 11, 77-8:30pm The Haunted Mansion (PG) starring Eddie Murphy Friday Flicks Flicks Fridays, 2pm Just in Time for an After School School WindWind-Down It’s a Beading Party Make a necklace or bracelet and earrings to match. Learn basic beading and wire wrapping. Tools will be provided. Cost of beads is $12 unless more expensive beads are selected. Registration is required. Call the library for details. A visit to Bead Creative in Hampton is required to select your beads. Open to teens and adults! Wednesday, Oct. 12, 7:00pm Knit and Purl October 14: Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (PG) Starring Amber Tamblyn October 21: Kicking and Screaming (PG) Starring Will Ferrell Winter is coming!!! Be ready with a scarf or at least a project to keep you entertained. Basic knitting will be taught by volunteers who love to knit. Experienced knitters are welcome to join in on the fun. Please call for a list of supplies. A second class will meet on Nov. 9, at 7pm. The class is open to teens and adults.
