BL ACK
FR I DAY
Welcome to the 10th annual
Downtown Holiday Market.
With more than 150 participants selling a diverse array of quality,
handmade art and wares over 26 days, the Market is a one-stop winter wonderland with a variety of gifts for everyone on your list.
Ten years ago, the DowntownDC Business Improvement District
(DowntownDC) and Diverse Markets Management (DMM) joined
forces to create a holiday gathering place for the community in the
heart of Downtown D.C. There have been remarkable changes since
the Downtown Holiday Market first opened in 2005. Today, the
Market is an eagerly anticipated seasonal tradition and welcomes
over 300,000 people who enjoy the festive spirit along F Street NW
between 7th and 9th streets.
The Downtown Holiday Market showcases small and local business and is open for workers, residents, and visitors daily from noon
to 8 p.m. Located in the DowntownDC ecoDistrict, the Market is
committed to environmental sustainability. It is powered by bio-diesel fuel generators, recycling bins are onsite, and its publicity materials are printed on post-consumer recycled materials. Environmentally friendly initiatives are important to Market exhibitors too, many
of whom are offering fair-trade imports and gifts made from recycled
and sustainable resources. The Market is conveniently accessible by
Metrorail, Metrobus and Capital Bikeshare.
DowntownDC and DMM thank our sponsors for their contributions. For a full list of sponsors, visit DowntownHolidayMarket.com.
You can also follow us on Twitter @DtwnHolidayMkt (#DHM14), on
Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. Have a wonderful time uncovering one-of-a-kind gifts, and enjoy the live entertainment, comfort
foods and seasonal atmosphere at the 2014 Downtown Holiday
Market!

MUSIC SCHEDULE
The Market Stage presents a musical feast of more than 65 shows by some of the area’s best blues, rock, jazz, soul, country, world, and contemporary artists. And of course, it wouldn’t be a “holiday” market without some of your favorite seasonal standards. Check the daily performance
schedule below, and find more information about all of the performers in the Musical Entertainment section of DowntownHolidayMarket.com.
