RoboValve will save process time and minimize the number of valves and diaphragms, thus reducing costs. The secret is NO hold-up volumes!!! This is achieved by allowing two valves, independently actuated, mounted under a single diaphragm, saving space and eliminating T-pieces. Innovation is rarely this radical, design rarely makes such a difference. 4 Connections, 3 Seats; 4C3S (formerly 4w4p) upper side Seat L1 lower side 4 Connections, 3 Seats; 4C3S BD (formerly 4w4p BD) filter valve lower side Seat L1 upper side lower side upper side 4 Connections, 4 Seats; 4C4S DFP (formerly 4w4p DFP) Seat U1 4 Connections, 5 Seats; 4C5S CHR (formerly 5w4p) Chromatography valve upper side C A Seat U1 Seat U2 Seat U2 D C A D C B D B C Seat L2 Seat U1 B1 Seat U2 B1 B2 B A C B1 B2 D B1 C C A B A C D A D B B A Seat U2 Seat U1 A C A Seat L1 lower side Seat L1 C A B2 The Burkert Type 8681 Control Head The rugged Type 8681 control head is optimized for the automation of pneumatic hygienic process valves. –Polycarbonate body, water tight, pressurized & durable –All self-learning Bluetooth/smartphone setup –Remote operation; external and internal valve manual override –Pneumatic module for 0…3 pilot valves, 200 l/min (variable +/-) and integrated check valve –Position feedback function via analog sensor for monitoring 3 positions configurable via teach-in funtion; plus connections for an external proximity switch –Three-color visual status display (green/yellow/red) with high-power LEDs –Electrical supply via AS-i bus, DeviceNET or 12…28 VDC, Electrical connection via terminals or M12 plug connectors –Pneumatic connection G¼", G1/8" connections –Protection type IP65 & IP67 with IP69K & Approved for Class 1 Zone 2 by ATEX II 3 G/D 10 Seat L2 Ball Valves & Butterfly Valves Burkert Quality - Ball Valve Solutions Burkert connects a world of process solutions to work efficiently. Burkert - IFV (Integral Filter Valve) Assembly Burkert is pleased to announce the recent product launch of its IFV (Integral Filter Valve) Assembly. The IFV is a direct result of the continued progression toward modularization in the Bioprocessing industry designed to increase yields and reduce dropped batches. The integration of a sterile filter assembly and adjacent valving and into one integral block assembly reduces contact surfaces and hold up volume, while greatly reducing dimensional envelope constraints and installation time. The assembly comes complete with a universal filter housing mount, two conventional hygienic diaphragm valves and one “double” weir robolux hygienic diaphragm valve. An RTD is provided on the condensate port of the condensate to assure sterilization of the filter housing. A mounting pad is supplied on one side of the valve assembly to assist in field mounting. Automated POU Clean Steam Sampling System (Portable Mobile Option) This system is specifically engineered to provide non-contaminated condensed steam samples for pharmaceutical and biotechnical applications. Apart from the manual connections of the steam supply and the sampling bottle unit, the steam sampling and condensing cycles are fully automated. A SIP cycle is also integrated into the standard controls to insure that each sampling cycle is free of any residual bio-burden. The sample bottle assembly is fully autoclavable. Clean in Place System Capabilities Burkert is at the center of Clean in Place (CIP) technology. Controlling acidic, alkaline and sanitizing fluids in an exact and documented sequence. Being at the center means this intelligent solution needs to be protected from the aggressive cleaning agents it controls. Ingress protection and chemical resistance are as important as smart communications in this world. Custom solutions for critical processes. Complete Panel/Cabinet Solutions by Burkert For the majority of cabinet builders in the industry, they must pull together all of the interior components from multiple external manufacturers. This adds not only another layer of cost, but also a sometimes difficult integration process getting the different products to work together. What makes Burkert exceptional as a cabinet solution provider is the large number of configurable interior components we already manufacture. This enables Burkert to not only provide a lower solution cost, but also insures the compatibility of these items to work together. Mass Flow Controllers Gas handling applications vary, the technology is complex and the offering range is diverse. So obviously it is always easier if you have a partner at your side that has a long standing reputation that goes far beyond the development of high tech and innovative products. For more than 10 years, Bürkert has been established as a global leader in the provision of system solutions. 12
